We had a great time. We parked at the garage associated with the Lyric with no issues. Getting through security went quickly. The staff were pleasant. We sat in the rear balcony and had a great view of the show. I would go to a concert at the Lyric again.

I attended two events within 6 weeks of each other at The Lyric. My husband and I saw Bill Engvall and attended the Chicago concert. The Lyric is a smaller venue, which helps with the sound quality. We had great center section seats for both events. Getting in and out of The Lyric is easy and the staff is helpful and friendly. There are drinks and snacks in the lobby for purchase. The lines for the restroom can be long, but otherwise everything else is great.

Saw Jeanne Robertson here this past Saturday night. Tickets to this venue very reasonable and we were in the 3rd row. They offer beverages of all sorts alcoholic and non and even popcorn. I recommend Uber if you are staying in the area otherwise you have to park in a garage and it is not cheap.

The acoustics of this venue were perfect, and as a result, this is one of those magical venues to appreciate both the vocal and musical talents of Jason Isbell and his band. The decor of the interior evokes those quintessential venues of years gone by that cherished both the architecture and the experience of a live performance.

Seats were comfortable but the seating layout is not ideal. The main seating area between the aisles contains perhaps too many seats which was a nuisance for dealing with late arriving people or those making restroom runs. You were forced to stand up to permit passage of people, and you could not really settle into the moment until it was time for Jason Isbell to take the stage.

Security was really tight here. Not necessarily a bad thing, but they went out of their way to scour the audience and make people put down their phones. No pictures is the policy, and they were adamant about policing the audience. They also were extremely forceful in demanding a quick exit after the show. You will be shown the nearest exit without question here.

Restrooms were sorely inadequate for the size of the crowd. When there is a big line outside of the only mens' room after the show, you know something is wrong.

It was rather ironic that the venue chose to feature a mixed drink for this show when the main act, Jason Isbell, was celebrating his 6th year of sobriety. In fact the lobby concessions were a joke. They had various beers and wines available, however, what accompanied this line up were cookies, candies, and similar "foods" comparable to a cheap movie concession.

We parked in the Fitzgerald parking garage as per the website for the venue. The garage is about a block north of the theater. We parked on the 6th floor of the garage, and it took nearly 45 minutes to exit the garage after the show. A complete keystone cops plan for departure which was incredibly frustrating.

Would we go back again? Based on the acoustics alone the answer would be yes, but we would definitely eat dinner somewhere before the event, and we would without question look for an alternative parking lot.
