Fantastic experience! Amazing ambiance in an old warehouse; really nice setup. The cocktails were somewhat limited (all craft/local ingredients) but they were all perfectly balanced and delicious. My favorite was the 2nd Amendment ... I joked that you have one sip and shout, "Shoot!" All the food was expertly prepared, and the service was impeccable. This is worth an out-of-the-way detour.

My wife has wanted to go to Woodbury Kitchen for many years. We were invited to go to a Baltimore Pops concert on Saturday night. We stayed overnight so we could go to Woodbury Kitchen for brunch.

We arrived and parked outside the building in their lot. Great old building. No significant wait for our table. I had the eggs in purgatory (a variant of shakshuka) with a side of lamb sausage. They brought the eggs in purgatory but forgot the sausage. It took a long time to get it. I then asked for some bread to soak up the lovely juices in my purgatory dish. Again it took a long time to get the bread.

My dishes were fine but I don't understand why it took so long to either correct a mistake or fulfill a simple request for bread or toast. Not in any hurry to return. The food wasn't that good.

If it's expensive, it must be good, right? Wrong. I have yet to meet a doughnut or muffin that is worth $5, or a waffle worth $12. Reservations are practically meaningless. Service is bad and, really, the ordinary, mediocre food is obscenely overpriced.

I should have read the reviews instead of relying on the star ratings. We had a similar experience as others have mentioned. HORRIFIC service. Waited 1 hour for our meal after ordering despite being told twice " your order is up next". This was at 1:15P on a Sunday. Had a soft shell crab that was the size of a golf ball, Great atmosphere, but the servers and managers have no clue how to serve customers.

Where to start... I am all about reviews both good and bad but did not look into this place before hand because my boyfriend has been talking about this place for a long time and wanting to go. The building and rustic décor was beautiful but that is all I have positive to say about this place and went downhill from there.... We had reservations on an off night, Thursday 9/7/17 at 7:30 for a table of 4 INSIDE. We arrived at 6:45 because we mistakenly thought we had 7pm reservations. The hostess was fully aware we were early, waiting for our table, and sitting at the bar (in eyesight of us). At 7:45 we check with the hostess and she states they are waiting for a table to clear... At 8:15, 45 mins after our reservation we check again and they tell us they have a table outside and at this point we are all starving. It was a beautiful night but chilly and us ladies were not dressed to sit outside but they did offer a blanket... We get to our table with aluminum chairs which were ice cold to sit on and no blankets. We are at our table waiting at least another 10 mins before anyone approaches us. At this point we are doing our best to stay positive as a girl comes to our table to fill water glasses, not our waitress where we ask for blankets and express our frustrations. She took our drink order at least. When our waitress finally came to our table she never apologized for the wait and as other reviews stated the staff seems as though we were inconveniencing them like they did not want to be there. The food was just ok when we received it and the drinks were pretty but not worth the wait and the unhappy ignorant wait staff. Our waitress came to our table all of 3 times in the hour and a half we were there. Once to take our order, once to check if we were finished, and once to bring our bill. We then received our bill for a table of 4 who ordered meals and drinks only being $109 as we knew it was wrong we gave our card and receive a receipt back to sign for a total of $215 and change. While she left the $109 detailed receipt on the tray along with the other receipt of $215 clearly indicates how much attention our oh so lovely waitress was giving. At this point beyond frustrated and hours after being at this place all we wanted to do was leave but couldn't because we had to not flag down but get up and find our waitress where she said she gave us the wrong receipt of $109 and gave us the corrected $215 receipt. We expected to pay for the atmosphere and food but we will NEVER come back to this place.
