“Great location next to Johns Hopkins University”
Reviewed 10 April 2012

Very friendly staff. Nicely appointed rooms, well sized with two Queen beds. We like that the sink and shower/toilet are separated so that both can be used at the same time. Nice size, 42+ inch flat screen TV. There was a distinct lack of accessible power outlets. One by the coffee machine and one near the sink. All others required moving furniture.

Nice fitness room with a good # of machines. No pool (I think it was seasonal).

Parking was $24/night self park or $28/night valet (with in/out privs). Internet was free!

Room Tip: There are only three floors. I think the upper floors are apartments. Our room overlooked the garage...

Our most recent stay was in March for two nights. We've stayed here many times here as it is the only option if you want to be close to the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. So while it's not bad, and the staff in the lobby are really quite nice, it can be expensive for what you get (I believe rates are adjusted higher for weekends with home lacrosse games). The lobby is very nice. The rooms are dark & sort of dated, the bathrooms are small and the tile walls of the bathrooms have several non-functional timer dials, along with many spackled spots from what must be an attempt at updating. We stopped going to the restaurant, but one can hope that it has improved! Even after everything I've said, we would probably return if we wanted to stay close to JHU.

My family (5 of us) stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a family reunion, and had a very good time there. We were near all the places we had to go, including JHU. The 2 adjoining rooms (each with double queens) were big enough, clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom water was hot, which we liked! The rooms were also the right temperature for us. We were treated very well by all the staff in the hotel we interacted with--front desk, valet parking, and house keeping. We asked for extra hangers--they arrived immediately. We made use of the valet service, and found them to be extremely helpful. Only negatives were that parking and restaurant seemed a litlte expensive to us, but wifi was free.

Rooms were clean and staff attentive. That being said, the thermostat had a mind of it's own, the shower water pressure was that of a fireman's hose With no way to alter it and there were no towel racks in the bathroom. Also the restaurant was overpriced. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

We stayed here to visit Johns Hopkins. Great location for this purpose. The service was excellent. Yummy cookies. Parking is a little pricey but probably no more than other places in the area. The breakfast was ok, not the greatest. The room was pretty standard. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was very small. The bathroom door barely cleared the toilet to close. Would definitely stay here again if I visit Johns Hopkins again.

Two-night stay in March 2012 for an off-site conference. Clean and confortable rooom, clean sheets and towels; hot water; polite and attentive staff; charming bartender; convenient parking. Excellent in every way. Don't visit Baltimore often, but next time I do, I'll be staying there.

This is our second stay @ the Inn and it does not disappoint! The staff is so friendly & engaging and the valet parking staff take great care of your car. Rooms are unique and spacious and tastefully decorated. The location is across the street from JHU stadium & campus so we walked to the game and enjoyed their outdoor patio for pre & post game tailgating. Their bar was perfect to watch the NCAA basketball tournament and they even opened early to accommodate our group for the game! Terrrel at the desk amazing and made our short stay worth while even delivering my room keys outside to us when they were deactivated! A short 5-10 mins drive to the harborfront and a great bike trail for the 4 miles if you choose to bike. Safe neighborhoor great for walking.

Room Tip: Use the valet parking as it saves time & money trying to find space every time you go in/out esp...
