It's a good location for the Convention Centre and the light railway from/to the airport. Breakfast is good (except for the yoghurt) and there is an excellent pizza restaurant at the entrance. Staff were helpful, especially concierge Atlas Washington. The room was adequate except for the noise from the lift (elevator). Every time anyone used it, we could hear the 'ping' as it arrived at our level - sometimes from a floor above/below too. However, our main difficulty was with WiFi (included with our package). One device attached OK but we are two people. We sorted it from complicated telephone instructions but then we needed to repeat the procedure on our devices every 24 hours. Isn't provision of a good Internet service an essential these days?

Food,service, rooms, location: all is good, nothing to complain. But the air conditioning!
The air conditioning in the conference rooms is set in a way that in order to have the correct temperature in a room, in those beside you will freeze. The staff provided us with blankets because the alternative would have been to have the other room complaining because it was too hot to stand. Surreal experience!

We are staying at this hotel and are very pleased:) the staff is above and beyond great! From bellman David to Cynthia and Christina who helped get our room, to Kim, Brenda, and Jennifer in housekeeping. This hotel obviously treats their staff well and they must enjoy working here and that is reflected in how they treat their guests.. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant “The Yard” on Sunday morning.. fresh made omelet and waffles, fresh fruits, etc.,and today in the Concierge’s Lounge. Thanks Marriott for your great staff, and consistently comfy beds which ensure a wonderful night’s sleep! The Charm City Circulator free buses stop across the street. They take you all around to many tourist stops.. a wonderful perk! Also the Convention Center in just a block away!

Stayed at the hotel for six days with my wife, and found almost everything fine with two exceptions; there is no safe in the room and the TV was broadcasting analog signals. Other than that the place was clean, the bed and rooms were comfortable, the breakfast available for free to Marriott rewards members was good, and the attention received from every member of the staff we came in contact with was excellent. Granted it is not a five-star resort, but you cannot ask for more for what you pay.

Room tip: Even number rooms in top floors have a good view.

We looked forward to our 2 nights at the Camden Yards Marriott, which has a great location near the Inner Harbor and the stadiums.
The staff is enthusiastic, very helpful, and a credit to the Marriott brand.
Not so the facility itself, which is in great need of upgrading. While we were there, only two elevators were working at peak times, causing huge crowds in the elevator lobby; another was operating on the day we checked out. It is very annoying to have large groups checking in (or out) at about the same time, then trying to use the elevator to reach almost every floor so that it takes several minutes between arrivals at the ground floor to move the next load of passengers. We watched several passengers give up and carry their bags up the stairs to their rooms.
The ventilation system is inadequate. Our room was extremely humid; nothing seemed to dry, even some quick-drying t-shirts that in other hotels have dried completely in a few hours. Luckily the guest laundry was well-hidden, so that upon finding it we were able to dry items that were still wet after 24 hours. For a structure less than 20 years old, some degree of renovation is needed.
On the other hand, every staff member we talked with was cheerful, well-informed, helpful, and well-trained. Checking in and out was a breeze, the food service was prompt and professional, the food itself was excellent, and we felt that such a great staff deserved a better property.
I rate this place as average because of its excellent location and fine staff, but next time in Baltimore I will choose a nearby hotel rather than stay at this place again.

Thank you for your honest review of our hotel and your stay with us. We are one of the older Marriotts in the downtown area and we look forward to a renovation sometime in the future. Until such time we do challenge our staff to provide the cleanest rooms and best service possible. We than you for recognizing this.
