Traditional diner-style place to grab a quick bite. Food is locally-sourced from the area and it shows in the freshness and flavor. Sausage is some of the best I've had. Home fries are good, too. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Don't come in large groups. Seating is limited to 15-20 total and is bar style.

Thank Jeremy M

After reading the reviews thought I would try this out for brunch but upon arrival at the side entrance (which the website instructs you to use) I was greeted by a piece of ply wood on the door and window shades pulled down. There was no signage either or no sign saying "closed" "on vacation" or the like. Another group of diners arrived and seemed equally confused. Has this establishment gone the way of so many other local Baltimore eateries of late?

decent vegetarian lunch, interesting small place, with quirky Ballmer-ish 1950s-1960s diner-counter hipster vibe. place seats about a dozen.
HARD TO SPOT ENTRANCE. I have walked past it literally hundred times and did not even know it was there or what it was until this week.
The sign and entrance is easy to miss - actually on East Pleasant Street a side street east of Charles.

This small gem can easily be missed from the street.... I had eggs, home fries, homemade sausage and toast.... The meal was excellent and all ingredients come from local farms... Small cozy atmosphere with big times delight for the taste buds !

We were absolutely delighted as soon as we walked in. The authentic counter, the bookcase in the corner, the sweet dude who took care of us. Food was fantastic, had an bacon/egg bagel sandwich and the bacon was amazing. Great spot.
