Huge sites. Bathrooms were so clean. Had nice facilities and trails. We were here in July, in a tent, with a lot of rain so that dampened out spirits. But I would love to stay here in October as it would be perfect.

This park has it all: peace and quiet, very nice hiking trails, lots of wildlife [deer, birds] and of course, beautiful oaks and Spanish moss.

If you want to get back to nature, have Spanish moss hanging overhead, than this is the place for you!! What a fantastic park, great trails for walking, nice bicycle paths and nature all around. We seen deer, raccoons, woodpeckers, Osprey, fiddler crabs, snake and the Giant Sloth!! The sites are spacious, the facilities are very well kept and clean. Would stay here again, maybe when it isn't so humid, LOL, but enjoyed our time, I am sure you will too.

We camped here for Memorial Day weekend we were there for about a week. It was a very beautiful area, and is maintained very well. I would definitely stay here again.

We have camped at the one campground in Tybee before but they were booked up for this trip so we decided on Skidaway Island State Park - wow! We loved the huge, peaceful, wooded sites. Tons of shade for those hot days. We had deer come close to our camper just to check us out! Hiking and biking included plus the restrooms/showers were very clean!
