Stopped in for our last dinner in Savannah before going home to Maryland. It was a Sunday evening and thankfully didn’t have to wait for a table even though we had a larger party. Some of our group had been before which led to some great choices. We got around 8 different dishes and none disappointed. Our waiter was very patient with us (Doug? I’m horrible with names) and was on the ball with filling up our water glasses. He also gave us some good recommendations. Couldn’t come to a consensus on which dish was our favorite -the tacos were mine (waiter recommended). Fun atmosphere. Glad we could make it this time around.

We came here to eat. The tapas selection was great and the portion size large. The food was tasty. We were here on a Friday night and there was live blues music. Awesome musician. Great place to come with couples.

Sat at the bar and Eric was trending. He made a great Manhattan. I had Calamari, the best I've ever had and followed with lamb chops which were heavenly. Some pleasant guitar and soloist in the background but not really jazz. I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Went in on a Wednesday night. Ron Landry was playing. Tapas are generously portioned. Started with the salmon croquettes with a wasabi sauce. Perfectly cooked, great flavor. Then we ordered the wedge salad for me and the ahi tuna for my husband. Both excellent dishes. Last order was for crawfish Mac and cheese and Steak Diane. My steak was tender, perfectly cooked with a flavorful sauce. My husband felt the Mac and cheese was moist but had no flavor. He told the waiter who offered to order him another dish. He was getting full so said it wasn’t necessary, just wanted it relayed to the chef that it really was missing something. Ten minutes later, Julie, one of the owners came out to talk to us. She had tasted the dish and agreed that it was definitely not what they usually serve and was embarrassed to have had it served to us. Lovely woman, we appreciated her acknowledgment. She very graciously took the dish off our bill. We thoroughly enjoyed our waiter, John, who as it turned out was still in training with Jeff who also stopped by to talk with us. Such nice people! The best was last. I love creme brûlée, theirs was fabulous. You have to try it.

It was so great to meet you! We're thrilled to see you and your husband enjoyed watching Ray play. Also, we're happy you loved the dishes. Thank you, again, for your feedback about the mac and cheese. We definitely appreciate it! Looking forward to welcoming you two back soon.

Best,
Julie
