We stayed here two nights because it was close to the venue of our son's wedding. While the rooms are not all that large, they are clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
There were many choices for breakfast with the staff constantly replenishing the breakfast bar during the 3 hours it is open.
I also like the location on the border of Park Slope and Gowanus, two very different areas of Brooklyn to explore. The view from the roof is excellent. It is a 10 minute walk to the Atlantic subway hub where one can take a train to just about anywhere including the LIRR.
Every staff member we encountered was helpful and cared about our stay.

We had a one night stay from April 6-7, checked in around 3:45p. Boutique atmosphere. Hotel was clean and stylish. Room size for NYC area was really good. Parking was available onsite. The front desk Associate was friendly, professional and he was cool under pressure. Had a big line for check in when his system went down. He always had a smile. Great breakfast choices for the next day's road travel. Staff was friendly and cheerful. Industrial looking location but looks like an up and coming area of Brooklyn. The entire stay room AND parking was just under $300. Would stay here again. Thanks!

We experienced both excellent service and friendly interactions with the staff, and total disinterest in the fact that we were guests. It was confusing. The price is outrageous, a function of being a nice place in Brooklyn. While Brooklyn has it's attractions (food is great) I find it tedious, expensive, and to be avoided unless work forces me to go there.

My family and I have been long term guests at the Fairfield inn due to some unforeseen circumstances with our apartment. I have never been treated better - this hotel staff almost feels like family to me! Twanna, Jessica, and Victor at the front desk are wonderful. Each of them has gone out of their way to get to know me, my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and our 14 year old pup! They know us by name and help us with anything we need. We've been in and out of the hotel and each time they help us out with so many things; Eddie has helped us check out a few different rooms to see which will be best for the baby and the dog. They work well as a team and you can tell they actually enjoy serving guests and making them feel comfortable. Mohammed does an outstanding job with the food and beverage service. We are thrilled with the complimentary hot breakfast that is served every morning. The food is great and the facilities are very clean and organized, well kept, and friendly. I highly recommend
the Fairfield Inn on 3rd Ave in Brooklyn. The staff really cares about their guests!

Room Tip: I would recommend the 4th Floor rooms, it's one floor up from the lobby and you don't have too many flights of stairs down to breakfast.

During my family's stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites we had wonderful experiences one after another. In particular, Mohammed Ouedrago, the food and beverage supervisor, went above and beyond to accommodate our family's needs. They had an excellent wine and appetizer bar that was complimentary for guests on one night of our stay. Mohammed gave us excellent recommendations on wines and went out of his way on multiple occasions to make sure that we had just the right beverages. Thank you, Mohammed for making our stay excellent!
