I live in Greenwich Village and thought I would take this tour as a lark. To my surprise, I learned a great deal and 90 minutes flew by. Reva is a walking encyclopedia of historic and pop culture references. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and if all that were not enough, she knows every shady tree at which to stop and impart her information. Great fun!

Thank you! Especially flattered to hear this from a native! But Greenwich Village is infinite, isn't it, always discoveries to make.
Took Reva Cooper's Greenwich Village tour yesterday. IT WAS FANTASTIC! maybe that's why the group kept swelling...must have been at least 100 very happy and appreciative souls! Reva is a talented and professional guide who peppered historical facts with amusing narratives. Her easy going style, and injections of humor and personal memoirs kept the throngs interested and excited, but belied all the preparation and knowledge that made Reva's tour so outstanding. Will definitely seek out her other tours. Big thank you to Reva.
Dear Captain Winters:
Thanks so much! It was pretty wild, taking 100 people around Greenwich Village, but they were a great group, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Best, Reva Cooper
A lively, provocative, interesting tour. The stories about places and people had me constantly thinking. Reva is a gracious host to NY and a thorough guide. Walking the streets together, from Brooklyn Museum to the Promenade, through neighborhoods and the waterfront, was the best tour of Brooklyn I've had. I will be signing up with her for more turns around other parts of the city.

Dear Eleanore:
Thank you! I especially appreciate that coming from a New Yorker!
Sincerely,

Recently in May I participated in a walking tour of Brooklyn led by Reva Cooper. We started out at The Brooklyn Museum and wound our way through various neighborhoods including Park Slope ,Prospect Park and ended up in Brooklyn Heights. As we made our way through these neighborhoods , Reva shared with us many interesting facts and historical details and anecdotes. I was amazed at the scope and depth of her knowledge regarding everything Brooklyn. Reva is not only extremely knowledgeable but also a very engaging and personable guide. I have taken many walking tours of NYC and various other cities , and Reva Cooper's tour of Brooklyn is by far the Gold Standard of walking tours!
Last Wednesday, I spent an afternoon following the footsteps of Reva Cooper through Brooklyn. We meet at the Brooklyn Museum and ended up in Brooklyn Heights. Along the way, Reva gave such an insightful, interesting and in-depth tour of Prospect Park, Prospect Heights, Park Slope and finally, Brooklyn Heights. This was where my family was originally from and lived for decades. I had not returned in sometime and Reva was a great guide to share her love and knowledge of Brooklyn. Thank you, Reva!
On Wednesday, May 13,2015, I participated in a walking tour of parts of Brooklyn . Headed by Reva Cooper, our group of five women walked from the Brooklyn Museum to various historic and landmark sites. We started in Prospect Heights and ended with a walk on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Reva's knowledge of past and present Brooklyn is awe-inspiring! Her energy and sense of humor is boundless. I am looking forward to more opportunities to tour with Reva. Thank you, Bobbie H.
