The park goes on for quite a distance, starting are the Brooklyn Bridge. They put quite a lot of effort into the greening of the whole area. It is a very relaxing area to stroll around. The area all along the water edge has been changed into open and semi-open air sporting facilites, a great idea. A very nice area to stroll around.

Lovely place to sit and relax .Only problem I have is there is quiet a bit of Litter just needs to be picked up on a regular basis .I suppose it is very busy and a lot of people just leave it all behind them .Perhaps a few more Litter bins would be a good idea

Meandering through the different sections of the walk is a vacation wonderland without needing to travel. So much to explore.

A wonderfully designed riverside park with unparalleled views of lower Manhattan. Excellent series of playgrounds, including a water park, for children (although all could have been made a bit larger) as well as large areas for more adult sports, including soccer, basketball, swimming and kayaking. Also food and snack options and ferries to take folks to Governor's Island.
