We arrived early around 6 with no reservation and were promptly seated. Spring rolls were awesome. We all enjoyed our meals. Fresh well prepared food. Ginger chicken, vegetable pho, pumpkin curry dish. We were served in a reasonable amount of time and the place was full by then. Our waitress was awesome and she was really busy but attentive to our table. We would definitely go again.

If you're in the neighborhood this is the place to go for a vietnamese meal! Love the curry. The Pho is good too!

The food is very good, but the decor and service leave a lot to be desired. It's a nice place if you are exploring these parts of Brooklyn but I wouldn't come here just for Falansai.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and got the chance to last evening. My companion and I went early (around 6:30pm) because we heard it fills up fast. It wasn’t crowded on what was thus far the coldest night of this winter season. The staff was very pleasant and we were dried to sit wherever we liked. We started with the Cassava-shrimp fritters – the waitress suggested a happy hour plate (2 pieces) if we didn’t want the full serving (4 pieces), which was an excellent recommendation because our main dish, the special for both of us, was filling. The fritters and aioli were incredible, a great start! The dinner special was some sort of winter vegetable “stew” dish served with rice – a mix of mushrooms, pumpkin and different squash with some mild peppers and a really tasty, understated sauce. It was excellent! We ended with Vietnamese iced and hot coffee. what a very nice dining experience in our own neighborhood that also wasn’t overpriced.

We were aimlessly driving and happened upon this place. The restaurant is decorated as a family style place. I chose vegetarian dishes like the eggplant which was incredible. My two companions tried the calamari and the other had the fish. We all finished our plates which is not the norm! The price for the meal for the three of us was $75, which you know is a bargain in New York. I will definitely go there again, this time on a date!
