It took us over a day to find a trail head we went hiking early in the morning and the views were out of sight
There is a trail head just up the road from Lake Powell Camp Ground

This was an easy trail with beautiful views...we did it in the early morning to avoid the heat and the breeze was wonderful. Very peaceful!

We never did find the beginning of the trail, but did the hanging garden portion. It was short and pretty easy, but did require some hiking over terrain where footing was tricky. The ground is covered with beautiful red sand which changes to layered sandstone that looks like rippling sand. Locals had no idea what or where the trail was. Would have liked to do more if we had the time.

It was a bit sketchy. There were area's that seemed un kept and definitely not maintained. You really need to be more experienced to do this whole trail. Seems like the City of Page should spend some money and time to maintain this for locals and visitors.

The trail leads you around Page. For me the nicest part is the western part towards the lake. You have great views over the lake and the desert, especially nice right before sunset due to the colors. Also a very good option for a run.
