I would definitely recommend this trail to anyone interested in hiking. You can make it as long or as short of a hike as you would like. Beautiful vistas! We walked along the trail for about a mile and a half, then headed back to the car. I wish we had time to go further. My only criticism is that the trailhead was very difficult to find. With Google maps and a local map we were able to figure it out, but it took some doing. We found the trailhead at approximately N 36 55.938 W 111 27.670

The "Rim Trail" is a wonderful asset of Page. It is a feature where one can stretch out the legs, usually find some degree of solitude, and take in the spectacular views that surround the City of Page. Some stretches are hard to find, others are in need of repair and brush clearing, but generally it is a great place to walk, run, cycle, or just meander in close proximity to the city's amenities.

It took us over a day to find a trail head we went hiking early in the morning and the views were out of sight
There is a trail head just up the road from Lake Powell Camp Ground

This was an easy trail with beautiful views...we did it in the early morning to avoid the heat and the breeze was wonderful. Very peaceful!

We never did find the beginning of the trail, but did the hanging garden portion. It was short and pretty easy, but did require some hiking over terrain where footing was tricky. The ground is covered with beautiful red sand which changes to layered sandstone that looks like rippling sand. Locals had no idea what or where the trail was. Would have liked to do more if we had the time.
