“Wonderful experience”
Reviewed May 25, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Loved staying at Shash Dine Eco Retreat. The experience was amazing. Four of us stayed in one of the tents. The tents were outfitted nicely and the beds were very comfortable. Loved sitting around the camp fire at night roasting marshmallows. The dogs that live on the property had puppies and they were adorable and would come to the camp fire at night to interact with guests. The hosts were very friendly and informative and available if needed. Would most certainly recommend staying there.

“Beautiful land! ”

Three of us stayed one night in the BELL TENT while we traveled through Page. It was outfitted with very comfortable cots and linens. Baya and Paul also provided little niceties like cards, flashlights, snacks, and drinks. Their sweet dogs visited us at camp which was a lot of fun. They have a communal fire pit which we joined to warm ourselves and talk with other travelers, so if you want complete privacy you would need to stick right by your tent or cabin. In the morning, Baya brought us a breakfast of traditional foods which we all enjoyed. We also used their beautiful wood outdoor shower. The listing states it's a solar powered water source, but you actually heat a pot of water over a propane cook-top. My sister chose to go "cold" and said it was great. ( don't forget your towel; only washcloths are provided in the tent) AND, NOW FOR THE LAND. It is just beautiful. We saw an amazing Harvest moonrise, and a stunning sunrise that slowly lit up the Vermillion Cliffs. If you want to camp and travel light, this is a very serene experience.
