We came in for lunch, but the place was soooo dirty! After we looked into the kitchen (it's open, you can see right through), we decided to just get some coffee and go. Sticky dust caked everywhere, dishes piled up in the sink. There was junk stashed behind knick-knacks and was overall just gross feeling. And slow! I don't know if they were understaffed - only two guys were working, one in the front, the other in back. Anyway, it took about 20 minutes to get a latte, and it was awful. I mean, the slowness might have been out of character, but it took years to build up the kind of dirt I saw in there. The food might be good, I don't know, but I would not go back until the entire place had a good cleaning.

A great Groupon deal brought us to Cabin Cafe during our week-long stay for our 10-year anniversary. At first the eclectic, quaint atmosphere made us wonder about the food. Until our first bite into their delicious Ruben! We went back 2 more times that week because their sandwiches (The Cuban and Hippie Dippie) were amazing! Seriously, they make Panera seem like a wannabe. And their soups (Black Bean chili, Tomato with basil pesto and Roasted rosemary potato) ARE TO DIE FOR! Couple their food, original and made fresh, with their downhome service and it made for great memories and pleasant experiences! We now have our new favorite eatery in Gatlinburg! If you want a quaint, romantic, rustic experience you're in for a real treat. Oh, and Duane the owner and chef with all the recipes is kind and unique. Don't waste your money anywhere else.

Found this little gem on the craft trail a few years ago and now it is a MUST stop (in fact its so good we went twice in 6 days!). The warm pleasant enviroment is matched by the staff and cook. The tomato soup with basil and pesto is amazing and a perfect companion to the warm and gooey grilled cheese! The other food being served looked great too...the Ruben was huge! A great stop for a tasty lunch!

The Cabin Cafe is our new favorite in Gatlinburg in the Art & Craft Community. The staff is just so upbeat, positive and pleasant. The chef knows his food and is so personable. Try the Italian Panini and the Ruben. They are awesome. We had lunch and wanted more so we ordered carry out for dinner that night. Please go.

This quaint eatery has excellent food cooked to order and the best wait staff around. Drop by for a quick bite whilst shopping the arts and crafts trail.
