The minute we walked in this beautiful home, everyone was stunned by the magnificent view of Mont LeConte right in front of our eyes through the gigantic floor-to-ceiling windows that occupies entirely one side of the house. Exploring this 6000 sq feet, 2.5-story, 7-bedroom house, we felt like we lived in a fairy tale. We especially appreciated the architectural design inside the property -- It's a true wonder! The rooms are nice and clean. The living and dining area are spacious and in style! The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. There's a cute and cozy computer area where the kids plugged in and played games on their laptops. My 14-year old son loved his king-room on one side of the loft. The other end of the loft is a cozy TV/card area. These two areas are connected through a bridge. How unique! There's one additional refrigerator and coffee machine in the entertainment area downstairs, very convenient for those who play pool table and watch movies. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi on the first-floor deck, chatting and sipping cold beer while watching the snow-covered mountain (It snowed the day before, yay!!!) The owner and property manager responded quickly to our request for fixing a couple of minor issues in the house, all handled in a timely and professionally manner. We had a great time staying in this beautiful property. If you ever decide to visit the Smokey, be sure to consider this comfortable and magnificent property!
The cabin was pretty much as advertised: big, spacious, great view. We had fifteen and probably could’ve comfortably handled ten more. That said, there were some minor issues like a couple missing window cranks, the TV in the media room had a large blue streak through the screen, and a couple other little things like that. We also had a bit of an issue with mice in the kitchen, so that was less than ideal. Parking is flat, though a little tight for more than four cars. Location was decent, probably a fifteen minute drive to get to downtown Gatlinburg and almost thirty to Pigeon Forge. All that said, we would consider staying there again.
My sister and I rented the LeConte View Lodge“ in Gatlinburg, TN for a relaxing weekend getaway with our families. The cabin is absolutely stunning. The picturesque views of the mountains was remarkable. The amenities in the home provided comfort for all ages. From the cozy fireplace in the main living room to the home theater on the lower level to the warm jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking the mountains, our family enjoyed every aspect of this property. Excellent for large families or groups.
Hello - We stayed at the LeConte View cabin over the MLK weekend and we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spacious and Val/Renee were quick to respond to questions during the stay. We had some issues with the heat but they quickly called a HVAC technician who resolved the issue. All in all, our stay was wonderful.
Large, spacious cabin with wonderful views. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We will be back!
What can I say? The atmosphere was awesome for the eclipse. This cabin delivered more than expected. The kitchen was awesome - we never ate outside. Able to make a gigantic breakfast. We came to watch the eclipse and sat on the main floor deck and watched the entire thing. Love this cabin and if we needed anything the owners were quick to act. Stay here!!!
The house itself is simply amazing, awesome layout and views from all levels. We had a family gathering of 28 people for a 60th anniversary celebration and it accommodated us perfectly. Each day different families could decide on what they wanted to do that day from the many many activities in nearby Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We went hiking in the smokies, visited Dollywood, horseback riding, go-cart riding, shopping, trout fishing/eating at a trout farm....the list goes on and on. So much to do, it's really incredible. It really was a perfect place to gather, we all felt so comfortable at the cabin, so much room that we could all just hang out and never felt crowded. The balcony off the main level was a favorite hang out in the mornings and evenings, just sipping on a drink and rocking in the chairs watching the "smoke" drift across the mountains, simply awesome. You can also relax in the hot tub or shoot a game of pool. My children loved playing on the arcade game in the pool room. I read the reviews before choosing this place and now I can tell you first hand that the good reviews are well deserved!
