The place offers you excellent view/feel of what it is to be in Kutanad area. The food is good and fairly priced. Excellent local cuisine is available. One thing we have noticed of late that most items in menu are either not available or has got over.

Our family gathering of over 25 people stopped here for a typical Kerala “meals” lunch with a side order of fried duck.
The meals was one of the best we’ve had in the locality, and the duck simply scrumptious.
The AC could have been better but did not detract from the experience. The adjoining shop selling local ingredients is a must for eager browsers.
This restaurant is not cheap by local standards but attracts a decent crowd due to their reputation. Overall it is worth a visit if you’re in the locality.

Food was ok..but the staffs were arrogant..when asked for a menu the waiter got irritated...and was not even giving time to discuss on what to be ordered saying everything is getting over..and his expression was like we did something and because of that their dishes are getting over..
If management is not changing their attitude not sure how long they will survive..

We stopped by at this place after skipping several bright sign boards along the Changanaserry-Alappuzha road. Expecting a typical restaurant layout we walked into what appeared to be a supermarket aisle with shelves full of packets. Apparently they are well known for a variety of powdered rice for various breakfast dishes including puttu. Behind this facade there was more excitement in store as we made way into the restaurant proper and encountered an ambience like no other. The theme appears to be maritime with artifacts resembling canoes, boats and oars amidst which the tables were arranged. It was spacious too. It was dinner time and we chose the palappams and chicken curry both of which were exquisite in taste. The prices were quite reasonable and the service very professional. We will be back before long for trying out their breakfast dishes.
