Ok, is not the most fashionable, the place is a little worn out. But for the price you pay, you won t find a better place!. The pool is clean, the garden is fabulous, the food is good and not pricy, you can get your diving staff for free. The manager ist not super-smily, but he´s a good man, and you can allways pop in the kitchen to watch Indo TV and have a chat with the staff. I find it super convinient, and come back every time.

Room Tip: Get the Aircon room

Rude and arrogant staff who ruined our experions here. At the moment we arrived we felt anything but welcomed. We asked to see the room first and the manager treated us like he thought we wouldnt have afford it. Ended up taking the room anyway cause the pool and garden looked nice, and the price was ok.
We had a bungalow with AC, which didnt cool the room really, the bed was superbad and uncomfortable - both of us had back pain after few nights here. Bathroom was quite dirty too.
We told them we'd stay for 4 nights, but after 3 nights we were having breakfast, and the manager came to ask us if we could checkout now. Fine by me, we will gladly take our moneys to some place else, where we get proper service, and wont get a feeling like we are being kicked out.
It really is a shame that in a place like this they have a staff that dont seem to be caring about their jobs at all. With a little love the bungalows would be much nicer, and whole experions much better.

So cant recommend this place to anyone.

The location is ok, swimming pool good. Snorkeling in front of the hotel and warungs close by. The bathroom was quite dirty and it's very warm in the room the fan is too slow. The staff is nice except the manager. He rented us scooters that ended with a flat tire because of worness while I was driving which made me fell and injured (not bad). Even a random man after the accident looked at the tyre and said we should not have driven. The manager sent us a car that we had to pay for he even made us pay the full day while we crashes at 10 am.

We stayed here for 5 nights - had booked in advance so we were put in the least attractive bungalows closest to the road. After a bit of discussion we relocated to bungalows close to the pool - much better. Grounds are well kept and we could hear the waves from our rooms. Place is a little worn and could do with some maintenance but rooms are clean.

Room Tip: Make sure to get room close to the pool/beach. Avoid rooms closest to road.

the hotel grounds are really nice : little bungalows are spread across a well maintained garden with lots of flowers. The hotel is onto a nice black sand beach where you can snorkel accross a coral garden.

Every bungalow has AC and is of a good size. The bedroom is modern and clean but the bathroom would need improvement, it smells foul. it's good value for money.

We didn't appreciate the hotel staff, who is nowhere to be seen, and never behind the reception desk. we had to insist to get soap and towels, and they didn't give us free bottled water.
breakfast was so-so : only one plain pancake (without sugar or anything), and an orange "juice" which was more water than juice.

I had a good stay there but staff needs to improve on welcome+ breakfast.

Prices online are cheaper to book through rather than in person for some reason no matter how much negotiating. Beach is rocky, but I didn't leave this place the whole time I was there expect for the Reggae bar across the street. Pool is great. Restaurant is good and people are helpful and friendly. I agree with other reviewers about the bathroom and keeping the door shut. My girlfriend traveling with me wanted an expensive place and I didn't. We settled on this one and she just went back to Amed and is staying there, so even she was satisfied with it and usually wants to only stay in the nicer places.
