My wife and I have stayed at Kebun Impian on many occasions.....and it just gets better every time.
The Host and Hostess , John and Wayan are charming ,helpful and friendly people.
Relaxing in the Bale by the ocean ,reading a book or sipping on a drink is my idea of serene bliss.
Apart from the peace found here there is the food. Wayan and her team put out fantastic meals all day everyday....truly wonderful. If you want something special just ask...if you want to learn how to cook Balinese delights Wayan will take you to the markets and show you all her secrets.
Kebun Impian is truly an escape from the mad world. Can't wait to visit again.

If you are looking for a small quiet place to stay this is the place for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights of peace, quiet, wonderful sea views, great service and fantastic food. John and Wayan are wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Our ocean view room was lovely with an amazing view. Wayans cooking class, which includes a visit to the local market to buy ingredients is an absolute must. Such fun and the market is fascinating. We feel completely rested.

Room tip: Ocean view if available is the best.

I stayed at Kebun Impian for 4 nights and immediately missed this beautiful place when i left. The place was quiet and peaceful and felt like a second home. John and Wayan take you with them to ceremonies, the traditional market and try their very best to help you with your further travels and/or questions. Theres a nice pool area with a piece of black beach. You can eat right next to the sea if you want to and unwind. The area around this place is also gorgeous with a view on one of the vulcanos. Would recommend to everybody.

Kebun Impian means "garden of dreams" in Bahasa, and owners Wayan and John aren't kidding. From the moment we arrived--two strangers off the street with no reservations and no itinerary--we were treated as though they'd known us for years. Relaxing. They welcome very few guests at any one time and give excellent service, i.e. not too little and not too much, which was a delightful reprieve from the overeager, constant sales pitches elsewhere. There's a flower in every drink. As you stroll along the grounds, look for John's hobby projects, including some masterful stone carvings, some honeybee hives in the trees, and small aquaculture ponds from which the staff will pull the freshest and most delicious prawns and gurami (a tender, white meat freshwater fish) you'll ever taste. Take your lunch in one of the two seafront bales, with a lovely pool to one side and crashing waves with views across to Gunung Rinjani to the other. It's literally delightful; I am filled with delight. And I'll be back!

Far from daily business you experience the endless hospitality, the great food, the magnificent views, the beautiful garden, the comfortable bungslows and the relaxing massages. Heaven does exist in eastern Bali. Thank you John and Wayang, I hope you may welcome many guests .
