This is only a small restaurant so I suggest you book. I think you can do this one month ahead. The food is outstanding. Wine list small but adequate. We shared three of the small plates and then had a large plate each. I can highly recommend the Celeng Guling! One of my favourite restaurants in Bali.

Worth a visit with the restaurant offering a modern menu that is more than a couple of specks on a plate so you can enjoy a proper meal of quality food rather than having to stop off at Maccas on the way home. The staff are friendly and provide a good level of service.

This is a more casual restaurant helmed by the same A-team behind Seminyak's fine dining mecca, Merah Putih. Helmed by Mebourne-born chef extraordinaire Kieran Morland. The food was simply wow! Amazing execution, creative interpretations with every dish being intriguing in concept and wonderfully tasty to the palette. Clever choice of ingredients leads to a surprisingly wallet friendly pricing. Think Michelin star gourmet quality at bistro prices.

One of my fave restaurants in Bali up there with Locavore and Merah Putih. Reservations are obviously a must.

Must order dishes: Pangsit (Langoustine dumplings, shellfish bisque, tomato, coconut for IDR80k), Kepiting Binte (small plate snow crab broth, squid noodles, leek, nasi jagung for IDR55k), Seafood Bumbu Rujak (slipper lobster, tiger prawns & click for IDR185k).

I have to say the food is nice overall but with the price set I will expect more.

They have three welcoming entries which is surprising. The lamb rack and beef cheek are recommended. The lobster is not fresh, so dispute they put a lot spices it just doesn’t have the right flavour of seafood.

Speaking of atmosphere, as a fine dining restaurant I would expect the staff to be more cared and focused, unfortunately they made me feel like abandoned and they are in a rush. Our plates were with a few bones but they just start serving the main courses without replacing them. Until I asked the bill no one has asked how do we think of the food and should we need any help. Maybe it was Saturday night they were too busy or the table next to us ordered a lot more drinks so they are more respected.

Dinner visit to this small, well appointed restaurant. Our dishes varied....the amuse bouche on arrival all excellent, both well presented and tasty, as were all our starters.
The boneless quail and rice pancake outstanding with great texture and depth of flavour, as were the pork jowl and the splendidly smoky cauliflower salad.
Slipper lobster and prawn main however was bland with the the lobster mushy and unappetizing ,while l felt the elements of the dish simply failed to cohere.
Lamb curry and loin dish likewise disappointing. Not really a curry with insufficient sauce and bland, flat flavours yet again.
Small though adequate wine and beer list and the usual range of cocktails.
Service was unfocused despite the plethora of staff and the meal was unduly rushed.
Final observation....don't like to eat in the dark. Almost impossible to see the food in the dim lighting. Why? Prices high for Bali but would be justified if the issues they have were rectified.
