I have been going to this restaurant for 6 months now but have held off writing a review till now. The reason is that this restaurant has improved a lot every time I have been there.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with nice up beat back ground music. upon arriving you are greeted with a Japanese greeting by the staff.. Next door to the restaurant is a lovely section with many antiques that you can look at and some you can even buy. The restaurant is non smoking but there is a lovely little outdoor area where you eat and have a smoke.
it has an open kitchen so if you wish you can watch your food being prepared.
The menu is full of delicious food for you to choose. I have had many meals there and all have been very good.
They have some beers only, no spirits but they also have a good selection of detox waters like orange, cucumber, watermelon and mint....
For entrée I chose to have the salmon sashimi. it arrived beautifully presented on a little pyramid of crush ice, underneath was some finely grated carrot. it was accompanied some Japanese soya sauce and pickled ginger.
My wife had some teriyaki chicken sushi which tasted very good.
For the main meal my wife had the Torimen special ramen which is spicy. they have the medium and the large if you are starving. I had the katsudon pork which was amazing.
Pricing for this amazing food is very reasonable with the most expensive dish around 98K.
The down side to this restaurant is that there is not a lot of parking for cars.
I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant as a great value for money restaurant... so if you want a little taste of Japanese in bali .......
