Description: Slippery Stone is a relaxing casual eatery. The open kitchen and bar created a unique feeling of warmth and hospitality. A Balinese feel is presence due to breathtaking rice-paddy views, and the local farmers going about their day-to-day business. Our overall aim is to be accessible to everyone, a local haunt that people can afford to visit 2 or 3 nights a week.Philosophy Our passion is to deliver a truly unique experience, which is completely removed from the everyday. Whether it is the incredible food, with its exploration of the harmonies of flavors and its incredible beauty on the plate, or our staffs, whose sole aim is to create for you a seamless unique experience and capture the essence of our true hospitality. AmbianceThe airy space is large, with comfortable cushioned bench style seats as well as sofas, and the typical table placements, in a rice field setting so typically Balinese, around a pond water feature.

From the time we entered Slippery Stone we knew we were in for a good night. The host met us for a chat and the staff followed through with fantastic service. The food was the best Greek food I've eaten outside of Greece. A really great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful night amongst the magnificent decor of Slippery Stone. It's like you have stepped back in time and transported to Ancient Greece. The food was amazing - our favourites are the calamari and stuffed mushrooms but everything was absolutely delicious. The generosity and fabulous service from the owner and staff made our night memorable. We've eaten at other Greek restaurants in Bali and Slippery Stone is by far the best!!

We spent the last night of our holidays at the Slippery Stone, we had planned to go there on our first night but our flight had been delayed. The restaurant is very well done, Sammy, one of the owners came to our table and explained how he and his partner had invested in the restaurant, renovated and redone the restaurant and the menu, very proud to inform us of all the ingredients sourced direct from Greece and shipped to Bali - including apparently enough olive oil to fill a swimming pool! We had the banquet which meant we had a variety of traditional dishes we all shared, food was very tasty and portion sizes were ideal, though we were assured that if we wanted more just to ask. The decor itself is very plainly, traditional Greek, at times you could well image being at a Greek taverna in the Plaka in Athens, in the lee of the Acropolis, very much part of the experience the owners are so keen to create. Service was impressive, someone always had their eye on our table and the transition from one course to the next was smooth and unobtrusive. Our children also had an enjoyable evening, they loved the setting, the music, the wandering sax player and the variety of food. My son was very taken by the traditional Greek donuts he enjoyed for dessert, all in all a great evening out, efharisto poli Sammy!

Outstanding !!!!!!!!!! Such a great night. Eating, drinking, dancing and throwing plates. The food was outstanding but the atmosphere out did even that. Do yourself a favor. Love love love this place. The owner Sammy from Australia was such a great help. He is obviously very proud of his Greece heritage. Well done team.

We had heard so much about Indonesian cusine before our travels there, but ironically, the best food we had was Greek and Italian. However, there are many "Greek" and "Italian" restaurants but not many live up to their name and manage to deliver servings on a high level.
Slippery Stone, however, is an exeption to this.
If you're looking for real Greek food in Bali, this is where you go. Also, the owner and staff are very welcoming and service minded.
