“Central, clean and good value for deluxe suite”
Reviewed 28 February 2012

Breakfast not worth getting up for but should be looked upon as a bonus. Pool although green in color (the tiles are green) is very clean and was attended to each evening. Deluxe room 308 has what appears to be the only balcony and worth the trip up the stairs passed the damp corridor. Room spacious, clean with all usual amenities with room safe and mini bar. Overall terrific location as walking distance to Kuta and Seminyak. Busy road but not obvious in the hotel. Good value.

This small new modern hotel is fantastic. First of all the staff are very welcoming and will do everything in there power to please and satisfy you and your holiday experience. They are polite courteous and well mannered. Never missed a wakeup call and great service at breakfast. Breakfast is average to be honest though ( the food). Hotel is close to pubs and legion shopping markets is up the next street over. Easy to get bluebird taxi and it costs 15,000RP to get to matahari central kuta. Rooms are very clean and modern, bed is comfortable , tv is large and LCD and has great channels. Laundry service around the corner or available at the hotel. Pool is clean and well maintained and not crowded!! Exchange rate was the bestthis trip 9,675RP per dollar. Overall I will be back here is April when I'm 29 weeks pregnant and find this hotel the best i have stayed in yet and for the price it's really ubeatable deal :)

Room Tip: Ground floor is great but second floor is up one set of stairs only and second floor was manageable...

Stayed in a Superior Suite here on the 2nd floor with a group of friends last week. Love the location! Loved the food! The pool bar was a bit exy and the stools were dodgey. We got an airport transfer both ways included and was much appreciated.

The staff were lovely. The only drama was when we went to get into bed, the sheets had dirty stains on them. Saying that, the reception sent someone straight up (12:30 at night) to re-make the bed so it was all well. This is a cheap 3 star place so don't expect it to be pristine clean, the bathroom needed a jolly good bleach/scrub as well. Apart from that, I would stay here again because of the location and price and friendliness of the staff. And the food - satays for tea and banana fritters for dessert rock!

Family of 4 stayed in a deluxe suite ground floor at Casa Padma for 3 weeks. We have stayed at 5 star resorts to budget hotels for the passed 10 trips. We have been really impressed with the Casa Padma.
When we arrived there were rose petals around the bath and on both of the beds, and a flower arrangement on the dining table. On our second week a lovely cake was delivered from Utami the manager.
We were concerned about the reports of loud music from the Legian Pub till late at night, no problems at all from our room.
The Deluxe rooms are huge, plenty of room for a family of 4. Two king size beds, lounge with a 1 and 2 seater, coffee table, desk, dinning table with 4 chairs, entrance table, cupboard with fridge inside and on top kettle with tea/coffee etc.
Large flat screen tv that is on a swivel so you can watch tv either in bedroom or lounge. No dvd player, no problem as we brought a small one form home. Fridge is very small, but we had our insulated party tub for our bintang's and mixers, just topped up with ice everyday. Bathroom large with a separate bath and shower, vanity with cupboard below and toilet. If I was to find a fault with the room it would be that it needs a door on the changing room, and that is only because we have a teenage daughter that likes some privacy when changing.
The hotel has a U-shape pool with different depths and a nice pool area at one end with lots of pool lounges with table and chairs. Our room was at the other end with only 2 sun lounges which were hardly used.
Breakfast was a choice of 2 eggs any way, bacon, ham, sausage or mixed meats, white or brown toast, croissant, juice or fruit platter, tea/ coffee. Or banana pancake, juice and tea/coffee. We only ate at Drops restaurant once for dinner and lunch. Great menu and the food was lovely. I had the ribs and the meat just fell of the bone. Our Son had their volcano pizza a couple of times from room service. He loved them and the pizza looked spectacular when it was lit.
Staff at Casa Padma were all lovely and nothing was a problem. Location is fantastic close to everything and a couple of min walk to the beach.
Hubby and I are booked to stay at the Casa Padma in a couple of weeks

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 12 nights in January 2012 and it was fantastic. The location is excellent, being close to everything you need even if it just another big bottle of water! (you cannot drink water from the tap in Bali). It is surrounded by restaurants such as indo-national which is Australian owned with great food, shops, bars and so on.
The staff were lovely and very helpful, the room cleaners also did a great job and always left the room smelling great on your return.
The hotels restaurant offered great food and the American breakfast included was always lovely with a plate of fruit and Bali coffee complimenting eggs and toast.
The pool was also lovely to swim in and lie around, it wraps the entire complex with two swim up bars.
I would definitely recommend staying here! And will be returning.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Casa Padma and will be returning on the next trip to Bali.
We stayed in a superior suite, was nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay (have had better in Bali but was certainly happy with the menu)
The location is excellent, close to all the action, resturaunts, bars etc. but not noisy or anything.
Pool has a swim up bar which is a bonus and free transfer to and from airport!

Room Tip: From what I could see there are 2 rooms that dont overlook the pool, I would try to get one overlook...

We stayed in this hotel in November 2011. My husband and I shared room 101 right next to the pool bar with our 10 month old son. This room was perfect for us as we could let our little boy sleep and go for a swim (we took our monitor so we could leave the room) we also travelled with our 2 best mates they were also in a superior suite on the top floor on the far right. My dad also travelled with us and stayed in a standard room. This was good for one person, I would share it and find it ok, many other ppl may not and think its to small. My dad liked the room as he could stay in the same hotel. Next time he will be booking a deluxe. We used the pool bar everyday, (it's was only 2 weeks old at the time) I found the prices good and the service very friendly. My hubby would be out in the pool many times chatting to Bar man!!! We did not like the breakfast, weren't across the road to Wayan and friends each morning instead. Just because it was apart of the room didn't mean we had to eat it. We chose not to.
We loved the pool and my 10 month old did to, we took a floaty for him to swim in and he just loved it. Have just booked again to stay this year and this is the first hotel we will stay more than once.
Also a lot of ppl complain about Legian pub, this is one of the best pubs in Bali and the ppl that work there are the best. We went to bed 10pm or later e Rey night and only heard them once in 10 days from Karoke, but I enjoyed it as I was on holiday. We would sit outside our room and listen to ppl sing was very amusing.
Overall, I love Casa Padma and will stay again and again :)
