A little pricier than I was expecting, but still a great value. We stopped overnight on our way from Illinois to Virginia. This hotel was the only one that had a room available. We didn't book ahead because we weren't sure how far we would be traveling that day. We had King executive suite. The front desk staff person was very friendly and handled the transaction quickly and competently. No one would have guessed she was in training. Every hotel employee we encountered was very friendly.

We did arrive in time to take advantage of the manager's reception so didn't have to go out to find dinner, thus saving some cash! The selections were quite nice with beef and chicken, potatoes, green beans, a pasta dish, rolls and butter, and a very nice small salad bar. For desert there were chocolate brownies and small cheesecakes. Drinks were available, including wine. I had one glass!

The room was very nice and the bed quite comfortable. My only complaint is that if you want to adjust the shower head you need to be on the tall side. I am 5'4" so had to stretch to adjust.

The breakfast selections were very nice (again saving some cash) but typical. The attendant did a great job of keeping things supplied.

Brand new hotel, 2 years old and it shows! Loved the walk-in shower. Excellent front desk service. Room was good size and quiet. I always judge a hotel by its bed comfort and shower. Both were excellent. Complimentary breakfast was good with nice variety. One complaint but did not report it, the cantaloupe was too old and should not have been served. 2nd day, it was fine.

Pricier than most Fairfield Inn’s but excellent facilities. Rooms, fitness area (best I’ve seen for FI), breakfast area, and pool are all very well done. Several Restaurants within walking distance. Conveniently located just off main thoroughfare.

The 'Fantastic Inn & Suites' would be a better name. Granted, the destination of Chillicothe, Ohio is not a mecca for summer travelers. Like myself, visitors are more likely former residents returning for family events or reunions. The occasional history buff or Native American researcher coming to see 'Tecumseh' will need a place to stay. This is THE place! if the Ohio historian visits, it doesn't hurt to ask for a room with a view of Mt Logan, the scene depicted on the Great Seal of Ohio smacks you right in the face from an east facing room. The city itself has grown in all directions over the past 40 years, but pleasantly, the downtown still retains its quaint colonial feeling and the employees at the Fairfield are all gems and examples of what "southern hospitality" is all about...Southern Ohio Hospitality that is! And if you are not far from Chillicothe, book a room and visit for a weekend, taking in all of the local national and Ohio historical venues. After a busy day out and about, there is a very nice pool and gym area to help you unwind or a private courtyard in the center of the facility to read a local paper or dive back into that book you brought with you. The in-house free breakfast is amazing, it even includes donuts from the local icon Crispie Crème donuts. There are several eatery offerings just a short walk for lunch or dinner, but don't miss out on Rooster's at some point...it is a fun casual joint indeed!

Room Tip: ask for an East facing room..for the sunshine wakeup and view of The Great Seal!

Our motorcycle club goes on a annual trip each year. This year we chose Chillicothe Ohio and stayed at the Fairfield Inn. Over all we were very happy with this hotel. Check in was very quick and easy. The hospitality suite was very nice. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. As a large group we utilized the back fire pit area and this worked out well. Breakfast was very nice each morning. Way more than what I expected. The hotel staff continued to check in with our group many times. I heard no complaints. I wanted to personally reconize "Kyle" from the front desk . This gentleman could not have been more professional and a huge positive employee for Fairfield Inn. Many in our group reconized his effort to make us feel at home. Others from Fairfield Inn were all so very good to work with. I would recommend others to stay at this location. 2 thumbs up !! .
