My wife and I recently stayed at this location. Although the the hotel itself is older, it was a good value.
The room was decent with a small fridge and microwave, beds again although older were comfortable and had lots of pillow options!
Hotel was quiet. It does sit back off the road a ways and was well light at night.
Staff was pleasant and greeted us with a nice smile.
The morning food was good as well, sausage gravy and biscuits were tasty.
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not your destination but if you are looking for a nights stay for a good value I would recommend.

This property is wedged between another motel and properties just off OH159, and it’s a bit hard to find its entrance. It seems to be part of a conference complex. We arrived about 6 on a Thursday and the desk clerk seemed a bit harried. He made no mention of our room request or our Choice Privileges status. He was unfamiliar with the Choice Privileges Program (said his boss was also unfamiliar) and couldn’t answer a question. Seems that Choice needs to do some training. The hallways have a bright, sterile quality and the facility seems dated. After entering our first floor room we were disappointed by the noise of various trucks and trailers parking in the lot just outside our window. With all of that and the CSX trucks in the lot, it began to feel like we were staying at a truck stop. The king bed was comfortable, but the plumbing was noisy and a shower running in the next room sounded like it was in our bathroom; voices next door were evident. The morning light showed that there was mildew on the cheap wardrobe in the room. On the positive side, breakfast had more variety than some Quality Inns: this one included hot oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, potato home fries, and egg “rounds” instead of the usual (and always disappointing) imitation scrambled eggs. Complimentary local apples at front desk were a nice touch.

Room Tip: Long corridors may mean long walk to desk or breakfast room

This motel is conveniently located in Chillicothe, OH. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the front desk clerk, Kim. The room was very clean, but the hallway smelled bad. There were good areas to walk the dogs. Some things that were not good is the fact that even though this is a two level motel with inside room access, there is no elevator. We were on the 2nd floor so we had to lug suitcases and heavy dog crates up the stairs. Also, there was only one ice machine in the whole motel so we had to walk downstairs and follow a hallway to the opposite end of the building for a bucket of ice. If I were traveling with pets again, I would probably stay there.

We arrived late, with no reservation. $104.20, including all taxes. A pub is attached so we assumed breakfast would be there. Front desk staff did not have much to say. A nice surprise to see a sign for breakfast at the bottom of the stairs the next morning. It was acceptable.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor, near the laundry, but we heard nothing.

Pros: location isn't bad ( we were in the area for an event in Portsmouth and had to stay here as all hotels in Portsmouth were booked up )
Suite was roomy enough.
Sofa bed wasn't terribly uncomfortable as far as sofa beds go

Now, on to the rest: 4 women sharing a suite need more than 3 towels to get them through their 2-night stay. Went to front desk to request more, given 3 (front desk clerk writes down your name, room number, and what she granted to you). We made sure to keep our towels hung up where we could, despite there being no hooks anywhere to hang them on, so we could a) reuse them and b) not have to go back to front desk for more.

Get ready for bed, no sheets for sofa bed to be found anywhere. Chest of drawers had a blanket (not wrapped or sealed like you tend to find at most hotels), and a pillow with no pillowcase. Called down to front desk for sheets and a pillowcase.

The next day, after being gone all day, arrive to find that housekeeping has removed all of the towels we had tried to keep available to us for reuse, replaced them with 3 towels, only 2 washcloths for the 4 of us (back to the front desk to beg for more towels!!! Was granted 2, asked for a 3rd, and was blessed to receive a hand towel, too).

Return to room to notice that we had no soap. The one by sink....gone. The one in the shower.....gone. No replacements.
Back to the front desk, where the same stingy woman from earlier gave us a bar of soap. Not one for the sink and one for the shower. A bar of soap.

There's a rather frightening stain on the sofa cushion, but otherwise relatively clean looking room. I would suggest not using the jacuzzi tub feature and just stick with a shower because all of the jets and filter are rife with black mold. Seriously gross. See photos.

The few other staff I ran into were pleasant enough aside from one breakfast bar employee and the towel-hoarding front desk clerk.

This sad hotel needs a deep cleaning, a fresh coat of paint, a few upgrades, and a management that hasn't given up.
