At the end of a long day of tramping around the Quarter, my family stopped at Cafe Beignet before heading home. It was great. The beignets were fresh and hot, the service and staff were great, and there was live, good jazz in the shop. It was a great New Orleans experience. On top of that, the other pastries on hand were excellent as well, but the apple croissants were truly exceptional. The lemonade is quite good, also. My wife tells me the coffee is really good, too. Highly recommended.
