I found the cemetery tours to be very interesting and I would recomend that anyone going to New Orleans, should visit as many of them as they can. The history of the cemetery is Rich.

“Spooky and interesting to the kids !”

Parking was a little hard to find. Police watching near by for law breakers, The kids loved looking at all the graves and reading the history. Bring your camera!

“Must see site for cemetery lovers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2012

This is where you will find the "Weeping Angel" statue that you see so many photos of in all the art galleries. She is in the Chapman H. Hyams mausoleum in the Metairie Cemetery. It is in the SE corner of the cemetery.
