Great place to stay in New Orleans. It's quiet but near all attractions. The rooms are a good size and the hosts very friendly and extremely helpful. It has the advantage of a pool to relax in after a hot day.

Absolutely LOVE this place! When my husband and I plan a trip, we don't say we are "planning a trip to New Orleans", we say we are "planning a trip to Green House Inn." Once you are there, it is so hard to leave. The house is beautiful and clean. The beds are wonderful. The pool area is like a true oasis, and so beautiful and relaxing. The owner and staff provide customer service that can't be beat. They go above and beyond to accommodate and make sure their guests are happy.

Our stay actually began with the detailed communications and the obvious genuine concern from the staff in prior-to-arrival e-mails....I just had a feeling even before we arrived that we would be more than satisfied with this B & B. We were met by Frank, who very efficiently completed our check-in, escorted us to our room, showed us around the inn and generally just made us feel right at home. We were meeting two other couples who had arrived before us and we could tell they were pleased as well; in fact, no one ever had a single complaint...other than the fact that we would eventually have to leave. We made new friends and thoroughly enjoyed their company. We will return, this is now our go-to NOLA destination.

I've been remiss in reviews on here of late, but that needed to change after our stay at the Green House Inn. My wife and I headed to New Orleans for a convention, but decided to get down a few days early to enjoy ourselves...One of the best decisions we've ever made! This was our first stay at a B&B, let alone a place with a clothing optional pool. From the moment we walked in to check in, we new we made the right decision on where to stay. Jesse, the owner, was doing ten different things, but still managed to make sure we were checked in and shown to our quarters: the Royal Ponciana Suite. This suite was spacious and filled with a vibrant yellow color that was amplified by the natural light flowing in through several large and smaller windows throughout the day. That said, the rest of the inn was just as warm and comforting with various displays, paintings and armoires, as well as a baby grand. The pool was an oasis unto itself. A secluded from the outside world retreat, that left us feeling as though we were in the Florida Keys and no where near New Orleans. (The neighborhood was quite easy and safe to navigate on foot for coffee, food or drinks or even just to wander) However, the staff here is what makes a nice b&b into an exemplary place to stay. Jesse, Frank and Allen went above and beyond the call to help us find places to eat or grab a dink or two. The casual attitude on the grounds and the ease of striking up a conversation with these three about anything in the world, or any of the other guests for that matter, are what form the the basis for the inn's mantra: Stay...Relax...Just Be. While the rest of our stay in NOLA was sub-par compared to our few relaxing days here, the Misses has stated she wants to go back...but only to the Green House Inn.

From the pool to the people to the delicious waffles, we shall return.

Thanks to everyone at the Green House Inn. You made our stay very memorable and pleasant during Jazz Fest! Great location with the perfect amenities and within walking distance or public transit. Once inside, it is like being in the Florida Keys...a place to rejuvenate after spending time throughout the city. Frank and Allen were spot on with their suggestions and information. The guests were very interesting and fun to get to know. A little shout out to Todd...the grandfathered guest...for the wealth of information about JazzFest. Kipling, the new puppy, brightened our mornings during breakfast as he greeted everyone. The bed was comfortable and snacks were available 24 hours! Since each room has its personality, we plan to try a new room next time. Enjoyed having a coffee shop, brewery, whiskey bar and barber all within the same block!
