Price and quality make this a gem of a find, mostly locals eating here. Went in to get a bottle of water to take on a walking tour and when I saw the sandwiches that were on crowded tables at 10:30 in the morning I knew I had to go back for lunch. So glad I did!! Please don't miss this one

Just what you expect in a neighborhood market and deli. Great sandwiches and beverage selection. Beer room out back.

I love eggs ... but due to me having eggs each and every breakfast for over a week - which I enjoyed - thought a change would do me good ...

We found steins in our DK New Orleans book ... so decided to try it ... got on the cable car ( a new experience in NO) and walked a few blocks where we find steins

First impression was that this cafe/ shop was to say the least shabby chique ...

The bagel with lox and cream cheese hit the right spot ...and the cafe au lait was beautifully made ...

I noticed that the shop sells liqueur and beers as well as different kind of foods - typical Jewish food as well as others

If you want a deli meal like you can have in
Any place which has a Jewish identity
- look no further in NO

An awesome experience at a cozy deli / store on Magazine St.
The sandwiches are made-to-order and are amazing! We had a Pistrami special and a Cornbeef special.
There's a craft beer room in the back with some hard-to-find brews in stock, as well as, specialty brands you need to ask for.

My husband and I loved this place! After a morning of walking the Garden District, this was just what we needed for a good inexpensive lunch. The place was busy; you feel like you're in Philly or Manhattan. Great New York Style deli with an authentic atmosphere. Quality meats and excellent pickles, great selection of beverages - grab one on the way to order at the counter. We enjoyed 2 cold bottles of Boylan root beer, well known in New Orleans with a Roast Beef Special and a Hirsch (formally known as T.C.M)) Although seating was limited, the locals were friendly and kindly made room for us. Truly a fun and interesting place to eat!!! Don't miss it.
