We were worried about not finding a good Thanksgiving meal not at home or by mom! Kingfish's pre fixe 3 course dinner was perfect! Of all meals, Thanksgiving must be traditional and Kingfish delivered! Now to try Nawlins food on the next visit! Daniella was exceptional in her efforts to upgrade our dinner time with follow up calls!

Good looking bar/restaurant with full bar crowd during game. Can't fault the bar, but service and food not up to prices charged (empty tables should have cued us). Tried to do too much, too cutely with classic Louisiana ingredients. Had to send back alligator and grits as served cold but no waitress in sight (no arguments to be fair and good alligator when hot). Fish tacos served with full grilled fish fillet - looked good but after putting tacos together results disappointed due to sauces and sides. Second fish dish had too much going on with taste mixture (collard greens really?) and, again, sauces. Better meals available in NOLA at these prices.

I was very pleased with the service and quality of food I received during my visit today. There were about 15 girls and all drinking the bottomless mimosas.. we never had to wait for refills, ask where our server was, and the food came out promptly! And I must add, the food was delicious! If you are in New Orleans, stop here for brunch!! And do yourself a favor and order the Cochon Benedict!❤️

This place has amazing food that comes in the usual massive Southern quantities. It offers a great atmosphere and packs the most friendly bartenders that you can find. The nachos are highly recommended but be prepared as they are not the typical nachos that you would expect to get. Yet again they are delicious. Also recommended is the risotto which probably can be described by one word: scrumptious.

Kingfish was recommended by a local and we can see how it could be a nice place to eat, but our experience left us disappointed. It appears to be a nice restaurant so we were baffled as to why an unruly bachelor party was allowed to make a disturbing amount of noise watching sports - it really ruined what could have been a nice atmosphere.
The cocktails we had were nice - my wife really liked the Amelia Earhart one but the food was pretty disappointing. Most of it was way too salty and just generally not nice tasting. We thought it would be a safe place to try alligator for the first time but couldn't eat the dish.

Overall it wasn't a terrible dining experience but we wouldn't be in any rush to either recommend or return.
