“Your Immersive Experience Begins Here”

Eric (the house owner) cares about this business, and that is made obvious through his genuine approach in caring for his guests. The renting experience can begin even before you arrive: upon your request, Eric can send cultural event suggestions and locations to visit; he will coordinate with you on the initial meeting time to ensure to his guests zero delay in enjoying his home, as well as his neighborhood. New Orleans is a town vibrant with music, personable residents, and a multitude of cuisine options-- Eric has a comfortable knowledge on weekly events and his personal feedback based upon his experience with those events and their venues.

His home is accompanied by a handful of intriguing stories and history, as well as a clean and neatly organized first impression. Should you decide to rent with Eric (and you should), prepare yourself to work with someone who wants you to arrive and depart safely, and who prides himself on your enjoyment. As you prepare to depart back to your origination, Eric remains present to facilitate queries, and adjustments.

As previously stated, Eric cares about creating an opportunity for his guests to immerse into a fantastic city. A decent person, with a heart for good service. You don't want to miss this.

“Amazing experience!”
Reviewed January 12, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

The house is like it is in the pictures. It's close (within 10mins) to the Superdome, Harrah's & French Quarters. There's plenty of food places and stores nearby, several W/I walking
distance. Owner super easy to work with. Will go again & recommend family & friends!
Cons: No TV in every BR..
Need privacy curtains.

“Perfe.ct for a girls weekend!”

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. A great respite from the craziness of Bourbon Street where my friends and I could hang out and enjoy meals together.

The home is historic so it is incredibly charming. But this also means it has a few quirks. If you're looking for brand new and modern, this home is not for you. But if you love warmth and charm, this place can't be beat.

The downstairs kitchen, dining room and living area are quite spacious. As is the master bedroom. The other three upstairs bedroom are a little on the small side. The pool is beautiful, and the backyard is great for hanging out and drinking a cup of coffee or enjoying a glass of wine. With nine of us in the group, we really appreciated the two showers upstairs and the powder room downstairs.

Eric, the owner, is incredibly responsive and friendly. He gave us lots of great restaurant tips in the neighborhood. HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL!! The streetcar is about a 15-minute walk away. And it's an incredibly fun and convenient way to get around town. We also took uber a few times. Very easy.

I wouldn't hesitate to book this home again. It was the perfect place to spend a weekend in NOLA.

“Great choice for large groups.”

My family traveled to New Orleans for a graduation and we needed a place that could accommodate 7-8 people. We normally stay in a hotel when my wife and I travel alone, but this was a perfect alternative for the large group. The house was easy to locate, the owner was a pleasure to deal with, the price was reasonable, the house was spacious, the amenities were like (or better than) home, and the neighborhood was in a convenient location. The pool pushes it over the top, as we arrived during a super-muggy week and were ecstatic to be able to swim. The house was clean, well-kept, and fully-stocked with toilet paper, soap, kitchen equipment/supplies, etc. We felt at home, unlike at a hotel, and were able to become completely comfortable. I will definitely recommend this house to others, as it was one of the most pleasant stays we've ever had. Well worth the price!

“Nice place”
Reviewed March 22, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Actually a nice clean and comfortable old New Orleans house. The place is easy to access by car (10 min to the convention center in rush hour), but getting a taxi seems to be a problem.

Eric is a legend! Myself and 6 others came to NOLA for my brothers bachelor party, with no knowledge of the area. Upon arrival, Eric walked us through the house, and told us all of the places, local and touristy that we should hit. Starving from our flight, he then drove us a short way up the road to Camellia Cafe (I highly recommend it) for breakfast! The house itself is huge, with a nice big backyard, fire pit and pool that we took full advantage of. Sleeping 7 was no problem at all. It's in a perfect area, walking distance from the trolley, supermarket, and Old College Inn. We took the trolley most places, but cabs were easy to get when we needed to go to the French Quarter. We had no problems with the house at all, and the only time we called Eric was for advice on places to check out. I would highly recommend this spot for any group looking to stay in a nice place just far enough away from the craziness. My group is already talking about doing another trip to the house.

“Great home for family!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We traveled with 3 teenage boys and loved all the space for everyone. Lots of character with up to date kitchen and the pool was a big hit after hot days of touring Nola. The boys also enjoyed the Wii - thanks! Two full bathrooms upstairs - one with shower and other with large tub - worked for us. You can easily walk to the St Charles streetcar which we road to the Lebanese cafe and it was really good. Eric is super nice and helpful and has the house well stocked. The neighborhood is like most of Nola - some houses are well kept and some not so much. Just stay on Pritchard and you'll be fine. We would definitely stay here again. Be sure to do the City Segway tour - the 2 hour tour was one of the highlights of our trip.
