I've been twice & have ordered several things. Everything is consistently delicious.... veggie sandwich, sweet potato tart, Paris brest, tiramisu, pretzel bun, vanilla cheesecake, ice cream, and French toast. I've always enjoyed every morsel. But the service is lacking. The employees have terrible attitudes. They're very snotty and rude. They are not welcoming. They do not speak with nice tones. They're very rude. I work in the service industry & something I have learned (and also value) is no matter how high the volume is, no matter what - put your game face on and deliver friendly and respectful customer service. If they're product wasn't so good, I wouldn't even bother because their employees are just awful.

Also, the seating is lacking. There is a large wall with seating, but just a few small bistro tables with a couple chairs on the opposite side. There are some customers that will take up a table that would seat 4, but it's just 1 person. I have seen an employee ask them to move or share the space. But they should really add larger tables to accommodate more quests. I never order anything 'for here' because there's rarely a place to sit.

Overall it's worth the trip... It's worth tolerating the snotty employees.

Thank A. P. S

My first time to La Boulangerie, and it won’t be my last. Open the door and you are greeted with the most pleasant smell of browned, baking butter. The pastries cooking in the background smell amazing. Choose between sweet, savory, hot, cold and even ice cream. This place is really well done. It is comfortable, relaxed and just tantalizes the senses. Execution on coffee was great. Well done. I have not enjoyed a patisserie like this since Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery in Yountville, CA.

As you stroll Magazine St. this is an excellent place to stop for a break. Croissants are decadent, sandwiches are tasty, and order at the counter service is efficient.

La Boulangerie has a wide variety of special treats, all fresh, flaky and delicious. We enjoyed breakfast there, and can't wait to try lunch on our next visit.

We read about it in a magazine called “where to” and they were sooo right!
Great breakfast!
The olive baguette was to die for!
The croissants and regular baguette were soooo good!
Salmon bagel just so delicious too!
Worth stopping by either for breakfast or lunch
