The restaurant was recommended from friends so we decided to go there with friends.
We had a set dinner which was wonderful, the quality of food was perfect, we all had a 5 course dinner menu. The best I do have to admit we’re the main dish “Kalbstafelspitz” which was so tender that it melted in my mouth and the second best dish was the “Kaiserschmarren” as the dessert. The other dishes were also good but the two were outstanding.

The wine menu is also good, they do have Austrian wines as well as international ones and the list is not short - so for everybody something to find.

The service was very good they payed attention and were very kind and customer orientated.

We will come again for lunch as they do have a very nice terrace- where you can see the “Wilde Kaiser” and the slopes.

My friend & I styaed at the Kaiserhof Hotel a few years ago and had a wonderful time.
The food was excellent, the staff and owners were the same and always greeted their guests at evening dinner. The weather was fantastic all the time we were there
It was my birthday while I was there and when I went down to breakfast, there were 1 dozen red roses and a bottle of champagne waiting for me from the management. I was overwhelmed at the kindness and thoughtfulness of the management. We had a wonderful time on every trip to Austria, going to different parts. A stunning country, so clean, so safe and people were so very honest in all the parts we visitied.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel last summer and decided to return in march to ski. The hotel is amongst the best and the food is simply the very best. The hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff embrace the Lampert family culture of being very welcoming and helpful. Its difficult to find fault - but there are three things:
a) The internet is poor and keeps 'dropping out'.
b) Ideally the room towels need replacing.
c) personally, we didn't like the policy of everybody sitting in the same seats in the dining areas every night.
That said, we would not hesitate to go back - and I'm sure we will.

Room tip: Their website shows the rooms well and the views are good whichever way you look.

We stayed in the Kaiserhof during our skiing holiday. As it was the busiest week of the Winterseason, Kaiserhof was an oasis of peace and quiet. It's a smaller scale hotel than what we are used to. That makes the whole experience very pleasant. We had 2 junior suites with connecting doors - travelling with our teenage this was very pleasant. The rooms were spacious with nice bathrooms.
The swimming pool is rather small and cold. There is no outside pool in the winter. A very good feature of the hotel is location: on the piste 80 of Ellmau. Only setback: it was quite watm when we were there: as a result the piste gets slushy and bad during the day. Not much the hotel can do about this.

This hotel is simply a jewel ! The hotel is located directly on the ski piste, a 2minute walk from a cross country ski loop and right next to various hiking trails. The hotel wellness area provides the ultimate in relaxation from the sauna, to massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, etc. etc. The pool is very inviting and is at the optimum depth so that our children could play pool volleyball with us. The champagne / oyster evening on the terrace overlooking the Alps was totally romantic, the swim evening by candlelight and champagne was very special. The hotel organised snow shoe hikes for us and Lama trekking. The food is unbelievably good - and the wines were matched so well. The service was simply above what one could expect ! We would rate this hotel as ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR !

Room tip: All the rooms are clean with spectacular views!
