My fiance and I stayed at the alpina hotel for 6 nights during the end of Janaury 2018.

Location:
The hotel is located a two minutes walk from the closest lift and 3 minutes walk to the
Fimbabahn (another lift). All of the town easily reachable from the hotel.

General:
The hotel gives a warm family managed feeling and are doing the best to let you feel happy and in a calm vacation mood.

Facilitys:
The hotels offers free parking which was ideal and very comfertable. The skiroom is great with private storage locker to each room. Most lockers were quite big but for some reason we recieved a relatively small locker which hardly fitted our needs since we had two snowboards and not skis. Although it wasnt a big locker as we wanted, it was still great and you can also store your helmet, gloves, boots and more inside the locker and its super comfortable.
The spa was great and very relaxing. There are 2 dry sounas, one wet souna, infra red cabin, a relxing room and some other nice features.

The restaurant:
Definetly, 100%, the best part of the hotel.
Our booking included half borad meals and they were excellent!
Breakfast was very rich with a verity of diffrent choices and the dinner was a four course meal + salad buffet. There are two choices for the main course but if none of them sits well with you, you can just ask the waiters if there are any alternative and they will be happy to help. The waiteres are super kind and proffesional.

The room:
We stayed at a double room with a valley view and a balcony. The room wasnt too fancy and a bit outdated but if to be honest, it seems that this is the standart decoration of a 4 star Tyrolian hotel. The room all in all provide anything you need: super comfertable mattres, pillows and blanket, large bathroom (shower only in this category of rooms), a small sitting area with the valley view and for us one of the most important thing, a balcony.
The only thing that was a negetive surprise for us, was that the balcony was a shared balcony with another double room so you dont have the privacy that you might want.

At the check-out we recieved a wine bottle as a gift, it gave us a nice feeling and was a nice small not obvious gesture.

We had a great time and will definatly recommand to our friends, thank you Alpina :)

Room tip: Upgrade the room to at least a valley view room.

I visited Ischgl with my boyfriend, staying for a week. I was really impressed with Alpina Hotel and would definitely go back.

First impressions were good - great location close to the lift and village centre nightlife, but I didn’t find it noisy at all. I had read some reviews that it might be, but unless you are a very light sleeper I think the benefit of this location outweighs any noise you might experience. The hotel had a real quality feel in the lobby area and the staff were all very welcoming.

Our room, 510, was spacious with a beautiful bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. We found the room quite warm but were able to open the window for some fresh air.

The bar and restaurant were just as impressive - a lovely mix of contemporary style with just a few traditional Austrian touches made it feel very comfortable. One thing that stood out was how clean the entire hotel was - completely spotless and obviously very well cared for.

We really enjoyed the food. The breakfast buffet was constantly topped up with boiled and scrambled eggs, meats, cheese, juices, yoghurt, cereals, lots of types of fresh bread and rolls, cakes, honey and fresh fruit and vegetables.
As part of our half board package we had two main meal dinner options each day. The starter, soup and dessert was the same on both menus but changed daily. The portions were not big but with 4 courses and a salad bar each night I always left feeling full. The waiting staff were always happy to offer more though! There were some classic dishes like lasagne and gröstl as well as some more creative ones with duck, beef etc. Drinks with dinner were reasonably priced and everything was beautifully presented.

The boot room was also excellent - spacious, well ventilated with heated boot and glove racks. A bit of a squeeze to get everything in but we managed.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay, which helped make this a really memorable stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped track down a lost phone for us, too. I think this was where you could really see the hotel was family run and everything ran very smoothly.

I had never visited Ischgl before and really enjoyed it, there was plenty to keep us busy for a week with a good mix of challenging and gentle runs.

Thanks Alpina, we will come back one day!

My family and I had a wonderful week skiing in Ischgl over new year. The Alpina Hotel is in a fantastic location for the ski lifts and village. The staff were fantastic and we ate some really lovely food. My daughter is a vegetarian and the hotel were more than happy to provide dishes for her.

Room tip: We were on the top floor which had a lot of stairs and no direct lift access

7-9 July : This is a family run 4* hotel with great attention to detail. From my personal experience, there is a particular emphasis in five key areas – cleanliness, service, bedrooms, bathrooms and hospitality. All these aspects offer a good level of quality, spaciousness and comfort, giving guests the impression of being well cared for by trained, professional and attentive staff. I did not test their food other than at breakfast, nor the bar.
Check in : Prompt and efficient. Reception is not staffed at all times during the day and you need to call from the room to get information. It works fine however. In the evening, you must insert the room card to enter. I strongly recommend that you enquire about the all-inclusive, Silvretta Card.
Bedroom : #203 : A three-bed double-room. Well ventilated ready for the guests’ arrival. Panoramic view over the valley. Good quality and condition with a matched and well-co-ordinated standard of furniture, furnishings, flooring and fittings in a typical alpine décor indeed; a fully fitted wardrobe in a small entry hall. Good standard of cleanliness. Bedding of good quality but the presentation could be improved. Newly renovated bathroom, spacious and luminous with a bathtub. Towels in impeccable condition; no heated towel rail. One bottle of water is provided but it will set you back 3,50 euros. No minibar. Free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast : Is included, and is a self-service buffet. It is served in a large dining room with a distinct Alpine flavour. Table service is prompt and unobtrusive showing a good standard of customer care as well as service skills, and comes with a smile. Expect the usual range of
hot and cold items, together with a relatively limited choice of quality accompaniments. Examples include preserves, ground and decaffeinated coffee, teas, a variety of cheeses, ham and local sausages, as well as birchermüesli. Sekt is also available.
General quality : Hotel setting good standards for the hospitality industry in Ischgl. New leisure space with a luminous and comfortable Spa area overlooking the valley. However as with their offer of different massages I suggest that you inform the hotel if you intend to make use of these services well ahead. Central and at a walking distance to the Silvretta cable cars. Free parking space. Ideal for families.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view to the valley

We booked the Alpina through Crystal and after checking some of the reviews made sure we got a room upgrade. It wasn't that easy as it is not part of the standard package but thankfully Crystal was able to arrange it. On arrival we were shown to the wrong room but that was sorted out reasonably quickly. We stayed half board and both breakfast and dinner was excellent. The lovely spa has fantastic views over the valley and is very well catered for. The hotel is very close to 2 of the ski lifts and the boot room is very well equipped. Each room has their own heated locker which was great none of that forgetting gloves etc. If I was going to make any criticism and that was the staff were a bit too keen to refill your wine glass.

Room tip: Make sure you upgrade if you go with Crystal a Valley view room for a couple would be my recommendation.
