Description: Set in a tastefully refurbished historic mansion, just steps from the ski runs, gondolas and village center of St. Anton, the Museum is a restaurant that features a walk through ski history. Dining in this historic ambiance celebrates delicious modern mountain cuisine that is locally sourced and seasonally inspired. Each of our 5 originally preserved dining rooms tells its own story. A fusion of an Austrian-international style of cooking with fresh and regional ingredients and an inventive twist on classic favourites is what makes our meals taste great. Welcome to a place where history comes to life, where people come together, and where delectable cuisine is served.

We really, really enjoyed our dinner at the Museum. The house is just beautiful, and consists of several different dining rooms, each cozy and unique. Service was top notch. The menu features traditional Austria fare- we tried the asparagus soup (special of the day), which was beautifully presented but not particularly memorable, and the ribeye Austrian style- thinner cut, with onion sauce. It was delicious, with a generous portion. We did not find the prices to be particularly high, compared to other St Anton restaurants, so I am not sure that the $$$$ sign is justified. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, and would love to go back on my next visit to St Anton.

Thank Alenchik

Impressive old house and interesting little museum.
Ate there with 4 friends. 3 dishes and a couple of bottles of wine to share.
Food was mixed quality and not really worth the prices.
Service was poor and the waiter seemed almost a bit drunk.
It’s one of those places where it seems like it was a good place a couple of decades back, but it has not been able to keep up.

Thank Preben L

Dear Preben L,
thank you for your feedback. We are really sorry that you didn’t enjoy your dinner in our restaurant as much as we would have wanted you - an all our guests - to. We very much appreciated if our guests inform us on site when a dish is not up to their expectations. This gives us the possibility to react as our goal is to satisfy our visitors. This is why we choose ingredients of high quality – favored local and seasonal – and prepare them with care and affection. We are sorry that we didn’t seem to match your taste. Regarding the waiter’s behavior: some staff members were not in the best of health and taking medicine during this period – which should not be taken as a simple excuse from our side but could be an explanation for the impression you hade. We are sorry for that!
We would be happy to welcome you again in the future and we will do our best to replace this memory by a highly enjoyable one.
With best regards
Manuel Hoffmann

In all our visits to St Anton, we have never eaten here. What idiots! We have been missing an excellent if smallish menu, beautifully cooked and immaculately served. We had two courses, planning on desserts and found we were too full to manage these. Wine can be a little expensive if you want vintage - we had the Zweigelt house red which was quite quaffable and affordable. A plus is that you are encouraged to wander the museum for free whilst there. Now we have found it, we will be back!

It is our 13th season here and we always book a dinner at the Museum.

This year they are hitting all cylinders. The entrees we ordered were excellent. I had the Pearch which was very special while my friends had traditional local dishes. All were excellent.

This is a very unusual venue that is worth a visit on its own. The food over the last several seasons now matches the quality of the venue.

Try it when you are in St. Anton. You won’t be disappointed..

Thank Michael M
