What a brilliant experience it was to have dinner at this divine Austrian Hotel restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in a classical Austrian style. Small booths in panelled rooms make the restaurant cosy and homely.
We managed to book a table, which is advisable as the restaurant is very busy. The atmosphere is brilliant and instantly you feel miles away from modern Europe.
We took the children for dinner (all over 10.) They don’t have a children’s menu as such, however, they accommodated our children with beautiful dishes of schnitzel and spaghetti.
We had the most amazing meal. Our starters were a traditional beef soup with dumplings and a hearty fish soup.
We all decided to pick off the specials board. The brilliant waiter explained each dish, which resulted in all four adults selecting the venison with red cabbage and mushroom strudel. A delicious decision.
Our waiter was helpful on helping us choose a local red wine.
Wonderful experience eating at this beautiful restaurant. I’d love to have seen the rooms at the hotel. I’m sure they would be amazing.
