“So much to do”
Reviewed August 16, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Family of four traveling with two young children. Stayed at CASA Nora for nine days. Our home base for driving day trips. Situated in quaint, timeless town. We stayed in the family suite on main floor. Spacious with separate bedroom for the kids. Outdoor terrace. We had breakfast in our fully equipped kitchen every morning before heading out to explore Istria. Beautiful views of the mountains from rooftop tower. Bike paths at your doorstep. All levels. Owners know the area, are avid cyclists, very helpful. CASA Nora is 25 mins drive from the Istrian Riviera. Historical sites everywhere you go. Pula is 40 mins away. Roman Arena in the middle of the city. Then take a boat to Briuni island. Tito's paradise. Kids had a blast going hiking, exploring the different towns, swimming, trying zip lining...
It was black truffle season during our stay so we got to enjoy this delicacy with Croatian typical style pasta, fusci. Family owned restaurants are ten minutes away from CASA Nora.
Had an amazing time. We hope to come back soon.

“We definitely will come back”
Reviewed October 8, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Nora, Croatia.
It was such a terrific stay. The little town is so small that it seems almost unreal….to find such a place of peace in this super hectic world is almost impossible.
We stayed in the apartment downstairs and were just happy with the surrounding. The place is brand new furnished; everything is modern in stylish white.
At night you don’t hear any noise; it is just peaceful. During the day, we did some nice mountain bike tours with Al (the owner of the house). We drove through beautiful forest, nice little villages, saw hunting dogs…just a different scenery from our home. Because there is no traffic at all, we would also strongly recommend road biking.
At night, we went to really great nearby restaurants and were eating truffles menus…just delicious. You even can see the woods were the truffles are harvested from your dining table ;-)
We also did a nice little trip to the coast. There is this beautiful little town, called Porec. It has a nice harbor and you think you are sitting in little Nice. Downtown is nice for shopping and little sight seeing.
We really recommend booking Casa Nora if you want a relaxed, beautiful vacation.
We definitely will come back.
