In a small mall away from the tourist hordes of Ali Drive, this place was a lucky find for us. We found it while visiting the excellent wine merchant, West Side Wines. On our first visit, we had Hayashi soba (cold buck wheat noodles) with a side of tempura and a tempura soba. The noodles were a perfect consistency and the broth was so delicious. We were so impressed we went there again. We had various sushi. The sushi rice was perfect and the fish was so fresh and good. It appears that the restaurant is frequented by local people and during the lunch hours most of the tables are occupied. The decor is simple exuding a home like atmosphere. Service is prompt and staff are very welcoming. On our next visit to Kona, we will be sure to visit this place many times.
