“Spectacular experience with a personal touch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2012

We had a brilliant experience aboard Shogun with Captain Ray and Joanie. Vicki and Ray did a wonderful job from the start...with high winds the night before they put our minds at ease with an early morning report and even when we had to take two members of our "fearless" crew back to shore, they were caring, and accommodating. The trip was an amazing, touching and heartfelt joyful experience. We saw bottle nose dolphins, manta rays, humpback whales galore ..not to mention the hundreds of spinner dolphins we swam with on three separate dips into the ocean. The boat was clean, safe and well equipped, and the food delicious. You couldn't ask for anything more...spectacular start to finish...

“Simply Fantastic!”

Cannot adequately describe the remarkable adventure we had. Captain Ray and our Swim Guide, Tina, treated us to the trip of a lifetime. Captain Ray keeps the Shogun in immaculate shape and clearly knows what he's doing as he got us in the water with dolphins all day. And the food was great. If you do nothing else on the Big Island, book a trip with OneLoveOneSpirit - you won't regret it.
Our highest recommendation!!

“Absolutely one of the best experiences you can have on the Big Island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 January 2012

We had a wonderful boating experience with Capt. Ray and Eliza the swimming assistant. We felt welcome as if they were our friends from way back when. The luxurious boat was spotless clean and the food was tasty/fresh. We have two teenage kids who also loved feeling like they were on their own boat as well. But it gets even better, swimming/snorkelling with the dolphins took our breath away with Eliza right close explaining their behaviours. Just when we thought we'd seen what we came for, we snorkelled in the Capt. Cook memorial area and saw countless fish, sea life that we'd never seen before on our numerous snorkelling trips in the islands of Hawaii. It just doesn't get any better than a cruise on Shogun with Capt. Ray and his friendly crew. And a big thanks to Vicki back at home base with our booking. Yes, you will exit the boat saying you had a truly awesome time of your life!

We had an awesome and spectacular sunset whale watching experience. it was very exciting to see all of the whales & dolpins...they put on quite a tail show. Vicki & Captain Ray were quite the hosts and were very accomodating , because of this I was able to get some incredible photo shots!

“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2012

We were in Hawaii after Christmas and wanted to snorkel and have the opportunity to swim with wild dolphins. We did not want to be on a crowded tour boat so we were very happy to find One Love One Spirit. Since there were five of us we decided to do the combo tour which gave us a full day on the boat ( no other passengers) along with captain Ray and Wanda, who was a great guide. It was just the five of us and the plan was to swim with dolphins and then do some snorkellIng near the captain cook monument. Our kids were happy when Ray suggested they may be able to fish on the way back.
We started out with a nice breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries and saw a pod of dolphins as we left the harbor. It then seemed we might not be able to find a pod to swim with so we headed to the snorkel spot and spent a couple hours snorkellIng . Wanda was a great guide and very informative. We then headed back and hoped again to find dolphins to swim with.. Instead we came across a school of many hammerhead sharks ( apparently an uncommon sighting) and then saw a couple of humpback whales and spent some time watching them.. My son then was able to fish on the way back. Ray kept on the lookout for dolphins and when a pod approached the boat we were able to get in and swim and they followed us- it was truly an amazing sight to see them swim around us and then they were off! We finished up with a sandwich lunch and enjoyed the ride.
It was a great day and Ray and Wanda added to the experience. We ended up seeing more than we thought we would and I would highly recommend the full day private combo tour especially if you have more than a couple people in your group. It gave us lots of flexibility and no crowds. We have done this type of thing many times all over the place and this was definitely the nicest boat we have been on for a private snorkel trip. Highly recommended
