We stopped into Harbor House on our way to Kona from the airport. The restaurant is in an industrial area right next to the Harbor. This is a no frills place. There is a good beer selection, and they advertise that it is the coldest on the island. I didn't have my thermometer handy, so I took their word for it, the beer was definitely cold. Food is typical bar fare with fried foods, sandwiches, a few entrees, and salads. I had the fish and chips, which was quite good. Another member of our party had a chicken salad that looked really tasty, piled high with chicken. Prices were very reasonable, and the wait service was good. Overall a good experience. If you want atmosphere, drive further down the road to the town, but if you want some good food and drinks at fair prices, this is a good spot!
