An amazing enginering feat and an impressive sight when you first come around the corner and the walls come into view. Even more impressive once you're standing on the walls and soaking up the views.

While trying to walk along the wall from Mali Ston to Ston they ask me to pay EUR 10 “entrance fee”. I think such a price is abusing, taking into account that it´s just a 40´ walk.
Also for parking, they ask for a separate fee.
I´d never ever recommend the place, it is just another tourist trap

We walked the walls on our last day. It is not to be missed. The views are great and as its a circular walk. There are places to stop and sit, take a cold drink or coffee and carry on strolling. We took lots of photos and were glad we didnt miss it.

Walls of Ston are twice as long as those of the more-acclaimed Dubrovnik and make up the longest fortress system in Europe. The walls also feature forty stunning defensive towers and a massive hillside fortress looking over the city from the rocky outcroppings above.
