Went with a friend for a few days. Very nice fire pits and tables. Not huge spaces for big tents and most do not have a level area so you'll be sleeping at some sort of incline.
Shady camping spots and even though we could see PLENTY of bugs in the sun rays, didn't have much of a problem with them.
Would advise bringing some firewood as we foraged, but only found some twigs and pretty much pilfered all the drift wood. The little river had a nice Rocky "beach" that allowed for rock skipping and kid-dam building. It was cold though so it was a nice way to cool off your bottle of water!
Water pump available, but even though it's drinkable, some may not appreciate the amount of iron (rusty).
Camp manager took care of the restrooms/outhouses, but the campground was full (weekdays) and we ran out of toilet paper.
Very clean area and close to Seward, but far from the crowd!More
