We are small-town people and I had some trepidation about staying in downtown Seattle, but we were comfortable in every way at the Grand Hyatt. At check-in, the desk clerk was very helpful, and when I asked for directions to the Space Needle (and told him my story about dining there 50 years ago on our first anniversary) he was very friendly and helpful.
We were given a room on the 26th floor with a waterfront view and it was simply spectacular in every way. Beautiful marble bathroom, comfortable bed and bedding, great blackout shade (that is a must for me!), and very clean, spacious, and just classy. Loved the little "foyer" with the light when you came in.
Molly, the Concierge, made a special effort to secure a reservation for dinner for us at Blueacre, which was a short walk away. We appreciated the restaurant, and the convenience for us.
Almost everything about our stay at the Grand Hyatt was perfect! I am so glad I chose this hotel! The one possible drawback was having to walk another block in the morning for breakfast. We were surprised that the hotel didn't have room service breakfast or breakfast on-site. But we did enjoy our breakfast at the Urbane Restaurant.More
