I have been here a few times. It's out of the way on the north end Normandy Park in a small strip mall. The food is very tasty and spiced just right. Friendly service with options to turn lunch dishes into full meals. It reportedly has a long standing reputation in the neighborhood. Highly recommend the drive for lunch.

In my 11 years working in Normandy Park / Burien, I have eaten at Teak House (and usually also bought take-out for World's Best Wife's lunch in Seatac) about 100 times. It's where I take visitors to lunch.

Good thorough Thai menu I can't comment about, since I never have dinner here. Let's talk about quick, well-made lunch specials from the wall chalk-board.

Specials always include nice garlicy broth and celery, and OK iceberg salad w miso-type dressing, and blistering hot fried egg roll. Don't care if it's not authentic Thai, cause it tastes great. Main choices are all made to order: red curry, green curry, pad thai, swimming ramah, crispy chicken (Not as good as the "chicken crack" at Budda Ruska in West Seattle, but pretty good). White / brown rice options.

Every special tastes great, with crunchy fresh veg, and crunchy fried basil.

Spice stars zero through four are accurately done and really different from each other: Three star red curry is REALLY hotter than two star, and two star will leave your lips tingling 30 minutes after you finish.

If you are a fan of well prepared Thai and are anywhere near Normandy Park at lunch time, you will not regret a Teak House special.

Glad I stopped by while driving through Normandy Park. Had a great lunch. The lunch plate special (there were six to choose from) included a main dish, rice, salad and an egg roll. And it was quite good. I would have preferred a little less cream in my Thai tea, but on the whole, it was a delicious lunch. The place is small, but busy.
