Staying at La Forge d'Hauterives was a wonderful experience, the house is tastefully decorated and comfortable and the host Anna is fun and welcoming. The location was perfect to see the scenic sites around, the local town was beautiful with many restaurants. Vence & St. Paul de Vence are very near. Our room had a llovely balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape. We loved this place so much., we would definitely return to this wonderful B&B in the lovely village/town setting..It exceeded our expectations. We fell instantly in love with this part of France and particularly this amazing home.

The B&B was lovely in every sense, the rooms were perfect and romantic, as the rest of the facilities. The village was charming and had everything one could ever wanted, restaurants, shops, spas, and more. We had a wonderful stay with Anne, she was most welcoming. She offfered us dinner, and every day she served breakfast in her lovely garden.

Room Tip: The room Bois de Charme was wonderful with a private terrace overlooking the valley.

This charming old (and yet very clean) village housing is perfectly located to wander by foot anywhere in the village. Finding parking space alongside is not as challenging as one who is accustomed to the South of France might think.
From your entrance onwards you will feel the charm of the place which emanates from the old fashion and tasteful decoration throughout. The light coming in and the greenery growing generously in the backyard where the pool is are simply beautiful. Breakfast is a moment of peace to share and enjoy French typical bakery, home-made jams and sometimes served with a delicious home-made recipe of the moment, all in the friendly and joyful company of Anne, the very nice owner, who will gladly share with you all you wish to know about your whereabouts.
I was lucky to experience staying in three bedrooms. They each have a charm of their own again very tastefully decorated and modernly functional. I recommend choosing one with a balcony as the view over the hills is breathtaking and one will appreciate to sit and relax there in privacy when needed.
I give two thumbs up for this lovely romantic style get away.

Room Tip: Note that not all rooms have AC. All bathrooms are different so I recommend to ask about their details if it matters to you.

After trawling through Sawday's we chose this place because of its pretty French charm and caring host. Both lived upto expectation. The B&B is right in the centre of Colle de Loup, with a few restaurants nearby and only 3 minute drive from St Paul de Vence, well worth a visit. The house is filled with lovely French furniture and the bedroom has really comfy beds with beautiful high quality antique linen sheets. The breakfast is like a classy French cafe with high quality utensils and all local and fresh, homemade food. Anne is a gem, offering lots of guidance to fill your day so you get the best out of your holiday.

Room Tip: Go for a room with balcony

Anne was a most charming hostess and we loved sitting by the pool or on our balcony overlooking the pool. Staying in La Colle sur Loup was a great way to visit St Paul. We just took the bus so no parking worries in that busy village. And La Colle has charming streets and restaurants itself.
