We visited la Prevote in September and it was such a magical experience. We selected the option of the Chef's menu where the chef decides your dishes for you based on his menu. I cannot tell you in words how delicious this meal was. We enjoyed a cold pea and mint soup, followed by foie gras, then scallops with a saffron cream sauce with Chinese noodles, then beef tenderloin with truffles an amazing gravy sauce and potatoes, then a delicious three cheese plate followed by gorgeous desserts. If you are in the area, do not miss this place. You will be so happy you came. Oh and did I mention the delicate ambiance, the wonderful service and delightful atmosphere....this place ticks all the boxes.

This charming restaurant/hotel is located over a running stream and butts onto a church (Notre Dame des Anges). We had a very nice dinner here, sitting outside, and selected the menu Lavoir.

The best dish in my opinion was the "FLEUR DE COURGETTE FARCIE ET TRUFFE D'ÉTÉ, Risotto de Petit Epeautre", which was crispy and light with a perfect balance of truffle flavours. The "FILET DE CANETTE ET FIGUES RÔTIES, Sa Cuisse en Parmentière et Ratatouille" was tasty but not remarkable. I also tried the "SAINT JACQUES SNACKÉES, Peignée à l'Encre de Seiche,Vinaigrette de Kumquat, Chorizo et Cacahuète" which was rich and too salty for my taste. "LES CHOUX EN ECLAIR, Abricot en Texture,Ganache de Chocolat Noir et son Sorbet"
was a beautiful rich chocolate flavour with a light Chou pastry. Finally, the FROMAGES Ardoise de Fromages Affinés were very good.

Overall it was a very nice meal, albeit not extraordinary, in a very nice location with friendly and professional service. The costs for 4 of the menu Lavoir and drinks came to EUR300

We visited La Prevote for dinner as a family of 4, the chef did an amazing menu for the children. The finished every dish without any help..
All dishes were excellent, from the first bite you can tell that the chef knows what he's doing. What a nice address in the heart of L'isle-sur-Sorgue. We had the chance to stay for 3 weeks in the region and this was the best restaurant we visited.

Everything about our evening at La Prevote was enjoyable. The food was excellent, the wine list was good, and eating in the courtyard was lovely. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly. To top it all, the patron offered to drive us back to our holiday home after we had finished. That's what I call 5 star service. Thank you for a memorable experience - I recommend this to anyone.
