“A peaceful oasis”
Reviewed April 17, 2011 for a stay in March 2011

My sisters and I rented La Marisol for a week in March. The weather turned rainy but La Marisol was a cozy haven from the elements. The house is very well appointed. The beds were comfortable, the house was warm and well lit not to mention clean as a whistle. There was Wi-fi for my notepad and a large TV with cable for those that wanted it. The house is steps from everything and yet is set back from any noise on the main street. In short it was a little piece of heaven. The only difficulty we had was finding the street because the sign was down. There are a lot of stairs to climb if that makes a difference.

Management Response
21 Oct 2010
The kitchen is a large elegant room with a trestle table that easily seats 10 people There is also a 10 seater dining table in the garden (with Weber BBQ) plus 2 x small metal tables in another part of the garden (seating 6) plus a table and chairs on the sunny roof terrace (seats 2) for a variety of alternative eating spaces at la Marisol.

When deciding the best use of space in la Marisol for guests, it was considered that there were enough dining areas for the property and allowed for the creation of an Entertainment area (at one end of the double length beamed salon) which provides a large flatscreen TV with Sky, DVD and iPod dock as well as a selection of board games and a desk for laptop use for guests. The comfortable sofabed in this area also provides sleeping space for an additional 2 guests if necessary. As our guests have ranged from 3 months up to the elderly, this was considered an invaluable use of space to the majority of guests, rather than retaining a 5th designated dining area.

As most people are are on vacation (year round bookings) guests tend to cook when it suits them, but otherwise like to enjoy the numerous restaurants close by.
