Might be an also ran in KC or Texas, but here in Omaha this is easily Top 5.
Best brisket yet in the Big O!
Hickory smoked with a salt & pepper rub, the first bite was savory and delicious. No need for sauce although I did try some with later bites. Sadly, very few cut brisket in the traditional manner. I, for one, miss that ribbon of fat that melts like butter in your mouth and keeps it moist. TT's was a thicker cut and all too lean, yet not so as I would complain.
The creamed corn is very tasty and a delightful surprise. Cole slaw offers a choice of dressings and is mixed to order leaving the cabbage fresh and crunchy. (If one cannot chew cabbage it is time to have your dentures checked) The next day with leftovers it was perfect.
It was a return visit for my daughter and everything was top notch as she remembered. Server was friendly and helpful. Prices very reasonable. And I do like the ala carte menu.
This is a must try!
