We've been coming to Le Voltaire for years and have never been disappointed. It is consistently excellent. Carefully prepared French classics are served in a casual atmosphere - not pretentious or trendy, but nonetheless delicious. Service is correct and friendly but not fawning or intrusive. On this visit I departed from my usual favorite, the bouillabaisse, and tried the Escalopes de veau au Vermouth. Now I have two favorites! And for dessert, crème brûlée, trés excellent. Also, the wine list is extensive and affordable.

Been here several times in past but not in last 2 years. It's a smaller place. Appears to be additional seating in the back but have never been seated there. The bar is quite small and right by door and hostess stand so I think it would be quite crowded to sit there plus no bartender. We had a small table for 2. Due to the small size and tables being quite close to one another-it's loud and not the place to have private conversations. An array of appetizers, entrees (usually a couple of specials), soups salads and desserts. A pretty vast wine list.
We were seated right away for our reservation and the waitress came over quickly to get our drink order. I wanted time to look over the wine list. After taking several minutes to decide we had to wait many more minutes for our waitress to reappear. We ordered the wine and decided to get an appetizer. Wine came out again 10" later. Our appetizer then came out and then bread was brought. After we were nearly finished with our appetizer the waitress appeared to tell us about the three different kinds of bread. We both selected the special entrees. Both were good. One was a steak special the other a white fish. The waitress then asked about dessert. We asked for and tried her recommendation which was a lemon tart. It was phenomenal. Overall good French fare but the service and ambiance brought my rating down. If the food was all pronominal I might have overlooked those two things.

Don't be fooled by the strip mall setting, this is the best French cuisine in town. They have a bakery next door that is also really good.

As a french I can tell you that the place's cuisine reflects the better that France can offer. Typical, tasty, and classy Le Voltaire won't disappoint you.
If you don't take any drink you'll spend between $15 and $30.
