Stayed a night on business this past week. Property is in a great location; close to the Old Market area which is really cool. Check-in was painless, lobby and atrium are clean, but dated. Room itself was dated and worn. Bathroom was standard for an Embassy Suites. I did not see self park and did valet which cost $18 overnight. My co-worker parked for about 3 hours and it was $15. Seemed a bit excessive for Omaha, but not uncommon in downtown areas I guess. Only nit-pick was HVAC. It was so hot in the room (it was cold outside, I get it), but the unit seemed to either be "on" or "off" regardless of what temperature you set it on.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We hoped that you enjoyed your stay and that you were able to enjoy your business trip as well. We are a bit outdated but strive to provide our guests with our warm hospitality and a comfortable, clean, suite. Our parking is a bit tricky as we are located in the heart of the Old Market where parking is at a premium. Event Valet Parking $15 is what we charge to Non-Overnight guests. If the guest is staying overnight, Self-Parking and Valet Parking are available at $12 (Upon Check-In) and $18 (With Valet). We hope that our Engineering team was able to make your room more comfortable for you during the remainder of your stay and they have been made aware that there isn't a happy medium (they will be working on that issue as we have been entering into the colder months)! We thank you again for your valuable feedback and hope to welcome you back soon!

We stay here every year over Thanksgiving. Reliable comfy stay. Very kid friendly--kids insist we keep coming. They love buffet (get to eat in pajamas; mickey mouse pancakes made to order; sit near fish and get to feed them). Wife thought Mattress too soft. No fix for this--boards to put under bed would be easy. Need more connecting rooms with kings or queens--no one uses doubles any more. No housekeeping staff at hotel in evenings--not a smart place to cut back.

Thank you for your review and thank you also for being a loyal guest! We try to make EVERY guest feel as though they are the only guest and we are happy that your kids chose to stay with us! However, we do want to wow their parents as well and it seems that we can do better on our end to make sure that your stay is just as amazing. We hopefully will be getting a renovation soon that would include more connecting rooms that can accommodate larger families! As for housekeeping in the evening, it is true we do not have housekeepers here, but we do have a public area attendant that takes care of our public spaces as well as guest needs via the front desk team! We hope that you choose to stay with us again in the future so that we can wow not only the kids but the parents this time too!

The downtown embassy used to be a favorite place to stay. Unfortunately the hotel is aging like milk instead of wine. The decor and amenities are dated, the furnishings and beds are worn, and the staff checked out long before you. It's still a great location but if it were anywhere else, it would be empty. With many newer properties nearby there are plenty of better options.

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate that we did not live up to your expectations of what we strive to provide at our Embassy Suites location despite our property being outdated. We too are ready for a renovation and we do hope that our cleanliness and hospitality outweigh the need for a remodel - but it is clear that we did not follow through with that promise this time. We hope that we can welcome you back in the future to make it right and show you that we can be your favorite place again.

Our daughter came down with the flu while getting ready for a wedding with the reception at the hotel and they let her check into our room early in the morning so that she could rest and after the wedding they gave her a coupon for some soup and told her that they would bring it up to the room so that she would not have to leave. It was a very nice gesture and we really appreciated it. The only bad thing about the hotel was that our room faced the street with the bars across the road and the music blared all night long.

We are so happy to have made your stay despite your daughter unfortunately becoming sick. We hope that she has made a speedy recovery and that you were able to enjoy your time with family and friends. It is unfortunate that the bars across the street were keeping you up, and we have put in many complaints regarding noise issues with the city - which they do have a curfew of 10:00PM to keep it low with doors closed, with bar time being 2AM, we do try to keep our guests away from that area as much as we can but when we are full we can't always accommodate. Our management team is aware and have made the bar owners aware as well. We sincerely apologize if this has impacted your stay with us in any way. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and feedback - we hope to welcome you back soon!

The service, rooms & complimentary drinks & breakfast make this hotel well worth the money. The location could not be any better. You can pretty much walk to anywhere downtown from this hotel. I do not believe I have ever had a bad experience at a embassy suites
